I’m Fausto — a backend engineer with 15+ years of experience building systems that power real-world products at scale. From tracking autonomous trucks for Walmart and Pepsi, to designing event-driven backends for high-growth startups, I’ve led core engineering efforts where reliability, clarity, and impact matter.

My strongest language is Python (12+ years), and I’ve worked across the stack with tools like Django, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, and every major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure). I’ve built OAuth2 providers, Shopify integrations, fleet telemetry processors, and multi-tenant SaaS platforms. I thrive in early-stage environments where engineers are trusted, communication is sharp, and pragmatism beats process.

I’m also comfortable stepping into JavaScript when needed — I’ve built internal tools and customer-facing features using React, and I’ve shipped backend services in Node.js when the stack called for it. I value versatility, especially when it helps move a product forward.
