Are you looking for your next role with a startup?

Commit creates exciting career opportunities with high impact startups throughout North America for our private network of highly vetted engineers.

Our startups look for Senior Back-End Developers eligible to work in Canada. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset, growth-oriented attitude, ambitions of excellence in their craft and a combination of the following tech stack:

  • One/some of: Node.js, Go/Golang, Python/Django/Flask, Ruby/Rails, Java/Scala, Rust

We believe that language is a tool. It’s more important that you have experience with one or more modern coding languages than that you have experience with any particular language itself.

To apply to Commit’s network, we ask that you fill out a quick application on our website, which is free of charge.

If your application is accepted, you will go through a quick three-step interview process, and the best part - no technical interviews!

If you officially get accepted into our private network, you will be paid a full salary while we work to match you with our startup partners. Once matched, you can pilot with the startup for 3 months. If you love it, you can continue with them; if not, we’ll work with you to find a better match.

Note: We only accept applications from high-potential, innovative startups that are financially stable and genuinely interested in prioritizing our engineers’ growth and development and always do what's right for the engineer.

What are you waiting for? Apply Now!

As an early-stage startup, we know it’s critical to build inclusive processes as a part of our foundation. We are committed to building and fostering an environment where our employees feel included, valued, and heard. We strongly encourage applications from Indigenous peoples, racialized people, people with disabilities, people from gender and sexually diverse communities and/or people with intersectional identities.

If you require accommodations during any stage of our recruitment process, please let us know how we can best support you.

Nice

I don't see why anyone would pay for what this startup does. You can easily build this yourself in 2 hours but serverless by double-dipping NextJS, Tailwind, Jest, Gatsby, Enzyme and Webpack on top of Kubernetes in a Docker VM on AWS.
