Join us as we build the workplace development platform of the future! \n\nJob Summary\n\nTeaching Assistants (TAs) play a critical role in teaching ~25-30 learners (as part of a larger class) in Correlation Oneโs virtual IT Business Analytics training program. TAs will be expected to support synchronous sessions as well as provide asynchronous support to Fellows to ensure their comprehension and learning.\n\nProgram Specific Information:\n\nWe are hiring Teaching Assistants for two upcoming programs. Teaching Assistants attend all live lectures, provide office hours, and support with asynchronous tasks such as grading, answering questions on Slack, etc. We estimate these programs to launch in August. Programs last 16-18 weeks, with live lectures happening two times per week for two hours per lecture.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\n* TAs are required to participate in all live lectures, providing helpful and fast responses via Slack, as well as being prepared to host breakout rooms as needed.\n\n* Provide 6 hours of individual office hour sessions for Fellows each week. You may set these hours within our parameters at your availability and convenience.\n\n* Work with fellow TAs and Lead Instructors on ways to improve the learner experience\n\n* Host review sessions or other support mechanisms to ensure the progress and satisfaction of your Fellows.\n\n* Grade your Fellowsโ submissions, providing feedback and ongoing learning support.\n\n\n\n\nWho you are\n\n\n* As an IT Business Analyst Teaching Assistant, you are a dedicated advocate for IT business analysis education, possessing a solid foundation in business analysis principles and practices. With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, you thrive in supporting instructors and students alike in understanding complex business analysis concepts. Your adeptness in navigating business analysis tools and methodologies enables you to provide valuable guidance and assistance, fostering an effective learning environment. Your dedication to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest industry trends positions you as a valuable asset in preparing students for success in the dynamic field of IT business analysis. You are empathetic, flexible, and patient, passionate about working with diverse learners who are new to business analysis content.\n\n\n\n\nYour expertise \n\n\n* 2+ years of experience in the IT Business Analysis field or a related field with a degree or strong credentials.\n\n* Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related technical field.\n\n* Experience supporting learners, preferably in a remote or hybrid environment.\n\n* Excellent written and spoken English language skills.\n\n* Proficiency in the following technical skills/platforms:\n\n\n\n* Business process modeling\n\n* Requirements gathering and documentation\n\n* Data modeling and visualization\n\n* Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)\n\n* SQL and database management\n\n* Use of CASE tools and business analysis software\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhere you are\n\n\n* This role is remote and can be located anywhere that is compatible with the EST time zone.
