This role will be a transformational role on the Security Defense and Intelligence, working closely to support the Security Engineers on the team. \n\nIn this role, you will:\n\n\nDrive projects in all major security verticals including: AppSec, InfraSec, OffSec and Detection and Response\n\nInnovate to solve novel security problems \n\nCollaborate on cutting-edge AI research, and use AI to improve OpenAIโs Security posture \n\n\n\n\nYouโll make an impact at OpenAI by:\n\n\nInnovating on Detection and Response infrastructure \n\n\n\nBuild tools for managing the lifecycle of detection rules\n\nDevelop, measure, and tune detection rules to ensure effective and sustainable operations.\n\nAutomate manual response processes \n\n\n\nEnsuring visibility and control of OpenAIโs endpoint fleet (macOS, Windows)\n\nDriving improvements across identity access and management (IAM), device management, productivity software, and our use of public cloud environments (e.g. AWS, Microsoft Azure).\n\n\n\n\nYou may be a fit for this role if you have experience:\n\n\n* Building and maintaining robust, reliable, secure and scalable data pipelines\n\n* Working knowledge of operating systems primitives (Linux, macOS) \n\n* Querying and enriching data using Spark \n\n* Performance monitoring and autoscaling of cloud resources \n\n* Programming in Golang, Python and/or Scala \n\n* Working within Cloud Infrastructure and experience with either of Azure, AWS or GCP\n\n* Creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture that makes all feel welcome while enabling radical candor and the challenging of group think\n\n\n\n\nYou may have:\n\n\n* Experience using LLMs\n\n* Experience with Databricks\n\n* Built infrastructure using Terraform\n\n* Experience with Kubernetes\n\n\n\n\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, disability or other legally protected statuses.
