In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive API documentation, tutorials, SDKs, and user guides for our cutting-edge GDN & PhotonIQ services, tailored specifically for customer developers and architects.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n\n* Develop and execute documentation project plans independently, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and driving the vision of how documentation contributes to business success.\n\n* Write clear, accurate, and engaging content for engineering audiences, explaining complex concepts such as architecting multiple cloud-based services, going beyond simply fleshing out notes from engineers or product managers.\n\n* Collaborate with technical teams to gain a deep understanding of product details and translate them into accessible, user-friendly documentation.\n\n* Leverage LLMs (Large Language Models) to streamline content creation and ensure documentation accuracy and user-friendliness.\n\n* Manage the entire documentation lifecycle, from planning and publishing to updating and incorporating feedback for continuous improvement.\n\n* Demonstrate strong product, project, and program management skills, taking ownership of documentation initiatives and driving them to completion.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n* Proven experience as a technical writer, with a strong preference for experience in documenting SaaS products and APIs.\n\n* Strong technical background, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts to developer audiences, potentially even possessing the skills to work as a junior/mid-level engineer.\n\n* Exceptional writing skills with minimal need for editing, and a deep understanding of technical writing best practices, style guidelines, and nuances (e.g., comma usage, capitalization in headings, tense differences in various document types).\n\n* Proficiency in Markdown, HTML/CSS, and documentation tools such as Git, JIRA, and Confluence.\n\n* Experience working in a startup or fast-paced tech company environment is highly desirable.\n\n* A proactive, ambitious, and results-driven mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work consistently and efficiently.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n\n* Experience writing about SaaS services and distributed systems\n\n* Previous experience working in a startup or fast-paced tech company environment\n\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\n\n* Competitive salary, valuable stock options and performance bonuses\n\n* Flexible work hours and remote work options\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
