Motive is hiring a Remote Proposal Manager Public Sector
\nAbout the Role:\n\n\nWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Proposal Manager to join our team, focusing on the Public Sector. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in proposal management, specifically with managing RFPs in the Public Sector and has experience using Responsive/RFPIO or other proposal management software. The Proposal Manager will manage the submission of public sector proposals end-to-end; ensuring timely and accurate submissions, coordinating internally, and maintaining a high standard of written content. This role requires exceptional understanding of the public sector procurement process, excellent project management skills, ability to coordinate in cross-functional teams, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n\n* Manage the creation, timeline, and submissions of RFPs for customers within the Public Sector\n\n* Lead the end-to-end process of responding to RFPs, including analyzing RFP requirements, coordinating internal resources, developing response strategies, and ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals.\n\n* Utilize Responsive/RFPIO platform to manage and organize proposal content effectively.\n\n* Ability to learn and stay updated on Motive Public Sector customer needs, preferences, and priorities.\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for proposals.\n\n* Format and edit proposal documents to ensure a consistent and professional presentation.\n\n* Coordinate and maintain response timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met\n\n* Stay informed about public sector procurement regulations, policies, and best practices at the federal, state, and local levels to ensure compliance and maximize competitiveness in RFP responses. \n\n* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including sales, legal, finance, product management, and subject matter experts, to gather information, develop solution strategies, and craft compelling responses tailored to the needs of public sector clients.\n\n* Oversee the development of written content, graphics, and other materials for RFP responses, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements and evaluation criteria.\n\n* Oversee the quality control processes to review and edit proposal content for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to RFP guidelines and company standards.\n\n* Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the RFP response process, including the development of standardized templates, tools, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.\n\n\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\n\n* 2+ years of proposal management experience responding to Public Sector agencies (City, State, Federal, Education).\n\n* Fluency with RFP software, preferably Responsive/RFPIO.\n\n* Strong writing skills with the ability to convey complex information concisely and persuasively.\n\n* Proven track record of successfully managing complex RFP responses from inception to submission, resulting in wins and revenue growth.\n\n* Excellent Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects simultaneously.\n\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions in a clear and compelling manner.\n\n* Proficient in document management and formatting techniques.\n\n* Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.\n\n* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.\n\n* Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Suite.\n\n* Familiarity with proposal best practices and industry standards.\n\n* Experience with project management tools is a plus.\n\n* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.\n\n* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
