That means everyone here has the opportunity to make a visible, profound, and lasting difference while helping merchants, builders, and our partners that rely on WooCommerce every day.\n\nAbout the role: \n\nOur team is looking for a product marketer who can offer both execution and strategic marketing skills to help drive stepwise growth for Woo.\n\nYouโll be part of a product marketing team that supports our large community of merchants, builders, and partners. We support our customers by making sure that everything we do is from a customer-centric perspective, whether itโs informing a go-to-market launch with customer research or digging into the data to measure the impact of our work. \n\nResponsibilities: \n\n\n* Advocate for the voice of the customer: Develop a deep understanding of our customer segments, identify challenges and opportunities, and form a perspective and execute an action plan for how Woo can better support their success.\n\n* Work collaboratively with product, creative, operations, and other cross-functional teams to communicate and drive our product marketing roadmap.\n\n* Develop value propositions for our core WooCommerce platform, solutions, and products and produce marketing and enablement content such as content libraries, case studies, website copy, blog posts, and other assets in collaboration with internal and external creative resources.\n\n* Conduct research into industries, competitors, customer insights, and product features to develop compelling messaging and positioning.\n\n* Own the go-to-market strategy and execution for new and existing products across various marketing channels and the customer lifecycle.\n\n* Determine and be accountable to product growth success metrics and other KPIs to measure the impact of work that was done.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* 5+ years of experience in product marketing or a blend of product management and product marketing roles.\n\n* Experience in product-led growth, lifecycle marketing, and/or experience in owning a portfolio of products where you were accountable for adoption, usage, and retention goals. \n\n* Proven experience in product marketing with a keen focus on customer understanding and go-to-market support, positioning, extensive customer research, and creating engaging content.\n\n* Flexible, cross-functional, and collaborative team player comfortable with a changing remote environment.\n\n* Self-driven starter with a deep curiosity to uncover and solve problems.\n\n* Ability to manage multiple projects, be proactive, and stay organized.\n\n* Comfortable in operating in ambiguous environments where you may have to โbuild the plane as you fly it.โ\n\n* Strong in execution, strategy development, and program management.\n\n* Experience synthesizing market intelligence and customer data into concise analysis that drives actionable outputs.\n\n* Comfortable working with data and insights to drive decisions and understand the impact of these decisions.\n\n* Able to travel globally several times per year to execute and attend community events, industry events, and company meetups.\n\n* Not required, but a bonus: prior ecommerce platform experience.\n\n* Are inspired by the Automattic creed.\n\n\n\n\nSalary range: $120,000-$185,000 USD - Please note that salary ranges are global, regardless of location, and we pay in local currency.\n\nRead more about our compensation philosophy and benefits. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
