(And yes, weโve prioritized a way to do these things in a virtual setting and not just in person - thank you Zoom!)\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n\n* \n\nDesign, and build out a strategy to test software while creating a shared sense of direction in team identity \n\n\n* \n\nTest Planning including defining the scope of testing, types of testing to be conducted and hardware to be used \n\n\n* \n\nIdentify risks and strategies to mitigate and reduce risk \n\n\n* \n\nProvide input into testability \n\n\n* \n\nMonitor the status of defects in the bug database \n\n\n* \n\nMonitor QA hours and escalate time constraint issues \n\n\n* \n\nAssist in estimation of QA efforts across a wide variety of projects \n\n\n* \n\nPeer review other team membersโ work, and learn and adapt from peer review of your own work \n\n\n* \n\nYou leverage your own knowledge to teach and mentor other team members \n\n\n* \n\nDevelop, document and maintain test cases and other test artifacts \n\n\n* \n\nSupport and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members \n\n\n* \n\nSupport and facilitate UAT with client Subject Matter Experts \n\n\n* \n\nIdentify potential quality issues and escalate appropriately \n\n\n* \n\nHelp determine best tools to be used for testing \n\n\n* \n\nYou leverage your own knowledge to teach and mentor other team members \n\n\n* \n\nYou apply wisdom and knowledge to resolve issues and challenges while looking for new innovative solutions \n\n\n* \n\nContribute to the continuous improvement and prevention efforts across all facets of the software development lifecycle \n\n\n* \n\nActively participate in user stories definition, providing feedback, work breakdowns, and estimates\n\n\nQualifications:\n\n\n* \n\n7+ years of experience in quality assurance โ specifically mobile testing with preference given to those who have a degree in computer science, software development, or a related field \n\n\n* \n\n Excellent self management skills and leadership abilities \n\n\n* \n\nDeep platform specific testing, such as on device native app testing, Salesforce testing, API testing etc. \n\n\n* \n\nStrong knowledge of and experience in using testing tools like Postman, jmeter, Selenium, Appium, etc \n\n\n* \n\nDetailed knowledge of Test management tools such as TestRail and Defect tracking tools such as Jira \n\n\n* \n\nAbility to work on multiple projects at any given time โข Extensive understanding of business processes and ability to cultivate innovative opportunities/solutions \n\n\n* \n\nKeen eye for details \n\n\n* \n\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to share insights and expectations with stakeholders, clients, team members, and various levels of management across multiple time zones \n\n\n* \n\nThe ability to form compelling narratives that articulate the underlying principles behind what you believe are best practices for applying systematic and disciplined approaches to software development, including requirements gathering, software design, testing, debugging, and maintenance \n\n\n* \n\nDeep expertise in writing, analyzing, and debugging issues in projects in various programming platforms\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
