Grafana is looking for a Payroll Analyst to join our Finance team. The candidate should expect to leverage current skill-sets while also focusing on learning quickly and adding value to the current processes.\nResponsibilities:\n\nOversee and process all multi-state payroll functions for semi-monthly payroll.\n\nPrepare, enter and upload payroll data in a timely manner.\n\nWork with Variable Camp to ensure commissions are paid timely through payroll.\n\nProcess child support orders, wage assignments, garnishments, and tax levies.\n\nWork with People partners to ensure proper adjustments to payroll are recorded .\n\nMaintain productive relationships with People team, including Benefits, Operations, and Business Partners.\n\nPrepare workflows to maintain consistency in processing payroll.\n\nMaintain payroll coding in Payroll provider system to ensure proper recording of payroll in Accounting software. \n\nRespond to employee inquiries and requests regarding payroll related matters in a timely manner .\n\nEnsure W-2โs are handled in a timely and efficient manner.\n\nLook for ways to automate processes to ensure accuracy.\n\nBe able to research payroll issues independently, demonstrating high analytical ability, knowledge of best practices, and an understanding of federal and state payroll tax and labor law developments.\n\nOther projects/requests as needed.\n\n\n\nQualifications: \n\n2 years of payroll experience, preferably in Tech/SaaS industry, preferred not required\n\nKnowledge of Workday, ADP, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite systems\n\nAbility to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously\n\nProblem-solving & analytical skills\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to meet deadlines\n\nMust be detail oriented, accurate, and well organized\n\nBe proactive in nature\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
