This role will be instrumental in ensuring adherence to KYC and KYB requirements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting our legal team in various aspects of corporate and cryptocurrency law. Your work will be essential in maintaining Auros's reputation for integrity and regulatory adherence in the fast-paced world of crypto trading.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nKYC/KYB Focus\n\n\n* Manage and execute KYC and KYB processes for clients and business partners\n\n* Conduct thorough background checks and due diligence on individuals and entities\n\n* Analyse and verify client documentation for accuracy and completeness\n\n* Stay updated on global AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and CTF (Counter-Terrorist Financing) regulations\n\n* Assist in developing and implementing KYC/KYB policies and procedures\n\n* Liaise with compliance and risk management teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements\n\n\n\n\nGeneral Legal Support\n\n\n* Draft, review, and manage legal documents, including contracts and regulatory filings\n\n* Conduct legal research on cryptocurrency regulations and corporate law\n\n* Support the legal team in intellectual property matters and corporate governance\n\n* Assist in preparing legal correspondence and reports\n\n* Ensure all legal documents are well-maintained and organised for future reference\n\n\n\n\nOur ideal candidate will have:\n\n\n* Paralegal certification or Law degree from a reputable institution\n\n* 2-5 years of paralegal experience, preferably gained in either a multi-national organisation, or in the trading, or financial services sectors\n\n* Experience with KYC/KYB processes and compliance requirements in the financial services industry\n\n* Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills\n\n* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities\n\n* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment\n\n* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal\n\n* Good initiative and personal resilience to manage the ups and downs of fast-paced deal teams\n\n* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion\n\n* Flexibility to occasionally work non-standard hours to provide coverage for the Northern Hemisphere team\n\n* Understanding of blockchain technology, digital assets, and the regulatory landscape surrounding cryptocurrencies is highly desirable\n\n\n\n\nWhat We Offer in return:\n\n\n* Opportunity to work at the forefront of the digital asset industry\n\n* Remote work flexibility\n\n* Collaborative and innovative work environment\n\n* Autonomy and a flat structure means you can contribute your ideas from day one and help shape the legal landscape which will power our future business. \n\n\n\n\nAt Auros, we value nimbleness, drive for success, owner mentality, and collaboration.
