\n\n\n\n\nAn Onsite Services Installer I is expected to complete full integration of Point-of-Sale systems and peripherals at merchant locations. This position requires coordination with merchants and field technicians to ensure all requirements are met before, during and after installation. Installers will work with our clients by promoting the highest level of service and professionalism. They are also required to train clients on POS ecosystems once installed. Representatives are also expected to acquire an in-depth understanding of the entire merchant processing industry.\n\nWorksite Location Requirements:\n\nThe majority of installations for onsite services are within the local range (200 miles). There will be time allocated for administrative and support tasks to be addressed in the office/home. There will be times where you will be needed nationally.\n\nResponsibilities include:\n\n\nOnsite Service Scope:\n\n\nInstallation, Configuration, and Training of Skytab POS\n\nSite Surveys/ Network Troubleshooting\n\nRepair/replacement of network cabling\n\nHardware/Software Troubleshooting\n\n\n\n\n\nAble to test hardware, software, and credit card processing with no or minimal remote support.\n\nPost-installation, provide documentation and photos of work performed at each location.\n\nWillingness to work flexible hours including on call, early mornings, late nights, and weekends, as required.\n\nPractice safe driving habits.\n\nMust have reliable transportation.\n\nAbility to communicate effectively on the phone, emails, and work orders.\n\nTracking of expenses and submitting monthly expense reports.\n\nProvide installation and feedback on new software/hardware while in beta testing.\n\nInventory management of equipment and requisition.\n\nParticipate in recurring training of Shift4 product suite.\n\nAppointments that take place outside of your local area may require you to be away for several weeks at a time.\n\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n\n\nGood driving record\n\nWillingness to travel on short notice\n\nAble to work well with hand tools\n\nAble to lift and carry up to 50 pounds\n\nExperience running in wall and exposed cabling\n\nTechnician background dealing with network/computer troubleshooting or installation\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\nDemonstrated proficiency in software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Docs\n\nFriendly, enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor\n\nAbility to learn and retain new information and concepts quickly\n\nAbility to follow directions and strong follow up\n\nProven good judgment and proactive decision-making skills\n\nAbility to adapt to change\n\n\n\n\nKudos for:\n\n\nBachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent work\n\nTechnical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Net+, MCP, etc.\n\n2+ years customer service / technical support experience\n\nExperience in the banking / credit card processing industry\n\nBilingual (English / Spanish)\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
