Remote Human Resources Compensation Manager
\nSupplyHouse.com, an innovative e-commerce heating, plumbing, and HVAC supply company, is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Compensation Manager to join our Talent Management Team within our Human Resources Department! This individual will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing competitive compensation while actively contributing to our Talent Management initiatives. \n\nThis is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin \n\nThis position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired. \n\nA company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space. \n\nRole Type: Full-Time, Exempt \n\nLocation: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin) \n\nSchedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time policy.\n\nSalary: $90,000 - $115,000 (Annually) \n\nResponsibilities: \n\n\nBuild and implement pay bands across the entire organization, ensuring fairness, equity, and competitiveness in compensation structures\n\nLead salary benchmarking exercises and develop competitive salary ranges for various roles across the organization\n\nBring thought leadership by designing and obtaining buy-in for company compensation philosophy that will scale with the companyโs growth\n\nPartner with executive leadership to re-design and evolve our short-term incentive plans to drive employee performance and engagement\n\nConduct regular analysis of compensation trends, market data, and industry best practices to ensure competitive compensation structures\n\nEvaluate company positions and create accurate job descriptions\n\nAssign jobs to the appropriate compensation structures and FLSA classifications, applying foundational knowledge of DOL and FLSA wage and hour regulations (e.g., minimum wage, overtime, pay transparency, exemption classifications)\n\nHelp identify and configure HCM compensation architecture to support managers and employees in merit and incentive planning\n\nCreate, implement, and maintain job leveling guides to streamline career progression and internal equity\n\nProvide advice on job design and organizational structure as it relates to job evaluation\n\nProvide expertise and guidance to Human Resources and Talent Acquisition teams as well as leadership on compensation-related matters\n\nEnsure full compliance with state and federal wage related laws\n\nMonitor, identify, and implement new legal requirements such as pay transparency, reporting, or new wage laws\n\nContribute to Talent Management initiatives such as performance management, talent development, and organizational design\n\n\n\n\nRequirements: \n\n\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related field (Master's degree preferred)\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 3 years of experience in a compensation-focused role (experience designing and implementing compensation programs is a plus)\n\nStrong project management and process design experience\n\nExpertise in compensation module of one or more HCM, with hands-on experience in configuring and administering base and incentive compensation plans\n\nExperience in implementing pay bands/ranges and developing job leveling guides is highly desirable\n\nStrong knowledge of compensation practices and market trends, experience with one or more compensation benchmarking platform(s)\n\nProficiency in MS Suite, especially MS Excel\n\nExcellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and systems\n\nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments\n\nExperience in talent management, performance management, or related Human Resource functions (is a plus)\n\n\n\n\nWhy work with us:\n\n\n* We have awesome benefits โ We offer 401k with company match, 100% company-paid medical insurance, optional dental and vision add-ons, life insurance, vacation, and sick days.\n\n* We promote a work/life balance โ We value your time!
