We seek people who can accept this challenge positively, brush up the product at a tremendous speed, and promote PayPay with professionalism and passion.\n\n \n\nJob Description\n\n\nManage a team of mobile engineers (iOS or Android) responsible for the timely and quality delivery of a given product or project.\n\nLead the team in its daily tasks, prioritise them, and make decisions based on changing business priorities.\n\nStructure and facilitate the teamโs workflow and development process.\n\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders across the company to understand their requirements and translate them into the team's technical requirements.\n\nFosters the teamโs evolution and itโs memberโs growth, including, but not limited to, 1:1s and performance evaluation\n\nPlan for future resources requirements and collaborate with the hiring efforts\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\nProfessional development experience with Native apps (iOS or Android) as an individual contributor (At least 5 years of professional experience).\n\nProfessional operations experience with Native apps (iOS or Android) in the AppStore or Google Play Store.\n\nProfessional experience in a technical management or leadership role.\n\nHave a technical mindset and understand complex systems design.\n\nHave an extreme bias towards action. Basically, have the โGet Things Doneโ type of attitude.\n\nBe solutions oriented.\n\nBe able to maintain high-performance within a high-energy and fast-paced work environment.\n\nHave excellent oral, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Bilingual in English and Japanese is nice to have, but not required.
