Remote Director Director Product Management
\n\nYour Role\n\nWeโre looking for a Product Director to join our team, someone whoโs passionate about translating the needs of North American club and high school sports organizations into a product visionโthen guiding our team to bring it to life. \n\nAs a Product Director, youโll: \n\n\n* Own the vision. Youโll work with other leaders to set the strategy for our Competitive business unit, then maintain a product vision and roadmap thatโs strategically aligned. Youโll also communicate your vision to your team(s), stakeholders and company leadership to ensure understanding and buy-in.\n\n* Set customer-centric product outcomes. Youโll be the expert in the customers and the products in the Competitive market. Youโll use engagement and usage funnels as indicators of business outcomes (e.g., renewal, new sales, cost reduction). \n\n* Be responsible for products. Through the lifecycle of discovery, growth, maturity and sunset, the buck stops with you.\n\n* Guide discovery. Youโll help your team come up with new ideas, quickly throwing out the bad and ramping up the good.\n\n* Collaborate. As a partner to the Senior Engineering Director and other product leaders, together youโll make sure the collective product team on the business unit is healthy, effective and efficient.\n\n* Be a coach. Youโll manage, grow and inspire a team of Product Managers. \n\n\n\nLocation\n\nOur priority is to hire someone for this role who lives near our office in Lincoln or Omaha, but we're also open to remote candidates in the U.S. who live in the central or eastern time zones. The following states are possible locations for remote hires: AL, FL, GA,, IL, IN, IA, KS, KY, LA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NE, NH, NC, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, and WI. \nMust-Haves\n\n\n* Product management experience.You have worked in a product management role for at least ten years and have owned multiple different product strategies. \n\n* SaaS Expertise. Your background includes product leadership experience at a Software-as-a-service company.\n\n* People-leadership experience. You have formally lead a team of other product managers and can get buy-in on your ideas without resorting to command-and-control tactics. Youโre passionate about servant leadership and our values when it comes to others.\n\n* Product management acumen. You have created large product strategies and roadmaps, influencing others to deliver on key business objectives. You know the most effective ways to drive discovery, growth, maturity, and sunset of products you are responsible for. \n\n\n\nNice-to-Haves\n\n\n* Multi-level leadership experience. Youโve led direct reports that have their own direct reports. \n\n* Passion for sports.
