Remote Data Analytics Manager Sales
\nSpotOnโs data analytics team provides up-to-date, accurate data, analyses, insights and recommendations to support data-driven decision making and improve operational efficiency across SpotOnโs different departments and teams. We build our data infrastructure as a product instead of just a service, with the ability to make a significant impact on Spotonโs products, operations and business strategy.\n\nAs a Data Analytics Manager at SpotOn, you will lead a team of data analysts, partner with the CRO and different Sales functions and teams to improve lead sources conversion rate and Hospitality Executive productivity. To achieve these goals you will need to collect business requirements and questions; use various types of data and tools to create analyses and dashboards that answer those business questions; and support the teamsโ daily operations. You will be an active thought partner and subject matter expert to data, deeply involved in new projects and all aspects of your stakeholders deliverables to bring them, and SpotOn in general, huge value, insights and support. You will mentor the analysts on your team and will be responsible for their professional growth through setting personal & team goals & conducting periodical feedback sessions. \n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Design and oversee the implementation of SpotOnโs analytics strategy across all lead sources and acquisition channels using various data sources (Salesforce, merchant attributes and more). \n\n* Proactively investigate data for opportunities to improve and to provide insights on underlying causes of changes in conversion rate, lead size, campaign effectiveness and other metrics.\n\n* Lead a team of analysts responsible to develop and deliver actionable and insightful analyses to support Sales leaders and company goals. \n\n* Partner with sales leaders to ensure data-driven decision making guides their decision, making sure business priorities are aligned and execution of the data team is flawless. \n\n* Ensures that good data & dashboards DLC processes are in place and followed.\n\n* Maintain appropriate level of understanding of the data structure & transformations and/or dashboards that their team is responsible for and is able to jump in as needed.\n\n* Able to define and create first-draft solutions on the fly without needing to go back to the team.\n\n* Understand the larger focus of business/company goals and roadmap, and share updates and answers questions about the overall business with the team while acting as a proxy into other business units.\n\n* Grow their team and entire data organization in alignment with strategic plans. Ensure that team members have everything they need to execute on their work.\n\n* Continuously improve business acumen and understanding of SpotOn products and business, as well as the payments industry at large.\n\n\n\n\nRequired Skills and Experience\n\n\n* 7-10 years of data analytics experience, preferably for SaaS or payments companies\n\n* Experience presenting complex data analyses to senior management \n\n* Experience using PowerBI for visualizations\n\n* Foundational understanding of data modeling best practices. Bonus points for experience with dbt and version control.\n\n* Experience with a modern data warehouse like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift or Firebolt\n\n* Exceptional data analytics capabilities using modern data technologies & programs\n\n* Understanding of sales cycles and stages; Familiarity with Salesforce & multi-dimensional attribution models is a big advantage. \n\n* SQL proficiency and comfort navigating large data sets\n\n* Driven by analytics and metrics, leveraging data to make informed decisions\n\n* Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to prioritize \n\n* Able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders\n\n* Able to summarize, explain, and simplify complex data analyses and concepts \n\n* Superb presentation skills, great at using data to tell stories \n\n* Team player with collaborative approach to work \n\n* Ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneously and proactively communicate changes and roadblocks\n\n* Comfortable working collaboratively with various stakeholders across departments, including senior management\n\n* Undergraduate degree in quantitative major (Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science) or equivalent experience\n\n\n\n\nSkills that are a plus\n\n\n* MBA / MA in quantitative field\n\n\n\n\nBenefits: \n\nAt SpotOn, we put people above everything else.
