About the Team:\n\nMarketing and Communications are responsible for the reputation, brand, and community the Worldcoin Foundation is creating to nurture and grow the Worldcoin protocol. Tasked with creating and managing Worldcoin's Marketing and Communications efforts, the team oversees everything from community management to earned media and branding to content creation. \nAbout the Role:\n\n\n* Develop and execute tailored communication plans for Mexico, including messaging, audience targeting, media opportunities, and channel selection\n\n* Provide timely crisis communication responses and develop protocols to mitigate reputational risks\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment and build strong relationships with stakeholders\n\n* Lead media relations efforts, managing press queries, interviews, and story pitches for positive coverage\n\n* Manage external communication agencies in Mexico and monitor their performance\n\n* Draft and supervise media monitoring activities and create reports to evaluate communication effectiveness\n\n* Oversee content creation for press releases, articles, and social media, ensuring consistency in messaging\n\n\n\n\n \nAbout You:\n\n\n* 6+ years of experience in Communications \n\n* Be able to operate with empathy in a hybrid, collaborative and fast-paced environment with cross-functional colleagues in various time zones\n\n* Creative and analytical problem-solving skills \n\n* Proactive, constantly seeking ways to improve their area of responsibility\n\n* Effective prioritization when it comes to project management, navigating time-sensitive projects while maintaining quality on other important workstreams\n\n* Experience in global tech/start-up companies with crypto/blockchain/web 3 being a plus\n\n* Proven ability to drive results and create transformational impact\n\n* Ability and desire to thrive in an ever changing environment \n\n* Fluency in written and spoken English and Spanish\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
