As a Substrate runtime Developer at SORAMITSU, you'll be working on some of our most exciting projects including: SORA network that provides tools for decentralized applications that use digital assets and Polkaswap - the eagerly anticipated AMM DEX (decentralized exchange) based on SORA network. SORA and Polkaswap are live now, you can check them here polkaswap.io and here\nYour work time\nYouโll spend 50% of your time writing new pallets, 20% of your time checking PRs from your colleagues, 20% of your time on fixing and researching some technical issues and helping other teams and 10% of your time on meetings.\nYour schedule\nOur team is distributed and everyone has his own schedule. The main thing is to join daily team meetings and reply in chats if you were tagged. As was mentioned above youโll spend most of your time on coding and itโs great! We donโt spend much time on meetings that we donโt need.\n Responsibilities include:\n\nDesign, implement and support software production.\n\nWrite tests that guarantee high quality of functional and non-functional characteristics of produced code.\n\nPerform code review for other developers.\n\nTake part in making architectural decisions.\n\n\n\nThe ideal candidate has:\n\n2+ years of experience in development.\n\nExperience in Rust, with a fair knowledge of the language specification.\n\nExperience in Substrate development.\n\nGood knowledge of Substrate, Polkadot, Kusama ecosystem.\n\nThorough knowledge of the standard library, and algorithms.\n\nUnderstanding cryptography algorithms, blockchain concepts is a plus.\n\nUnderstanding of blockchain consensus algorithms work is a plus.\n\nKnowledge of one or more blockchain protocols: Ethereum,Polkadot\n\nUnderstanding of basics in DevOps engineering.\n\nKnowledge of principles and practices in Agile development.\n\nProficient understanding of code versioning and git-flow.\n\n\n\nWorking Conditions\n\n* \nFlexible 40-hour work week;\n\n* \nPermanent, full-time position;\n\n* \nThe international team of professionals;\n\n* \nPossibility to work from offices around the globe;\n\n* \nPossibility to visit global meetups and conferences for education and/or for giving a speech;\n\n* \nAn absence of a strict dress code;\n\n* \nRelaxed work environment.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
