Remote Senior Software System Engineer Safety Requirements

\nMeet the team:            \n\nThe Compute Foundation Design & Test team is responsible to establish software requirements and implement tests within SDK group. We collaborate with several stakeholders across the organization and we are a key enabler to deliver software that is safe.\n\nWhat youโ€™ll do: \n\n\n* Apply best practices and known standard to derive software requirements for autonomous driving.\n\n* Collaborate with several teams and manage requirements belonging to SDK group.\n\n* Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to prioritize efforts and help on planning.\n\n* Interface with functional safety team to derive safety software requirements.\n\n* Follow Torcโ€™s internal processes and contribute to their improvement.\n\n\n\n\nWhat youโ€™ll need to succeed: \n\n\n* Degree(s) in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering , Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field with relevant experience. - Bachelor of Science degree and 6+ years of experience OR a Masterโ€™s Degree and 4+ years of experience.\n\n* Solid foundation in software development best practices as it pertains to design and understanding risks.\n\n* Experience working in the context of safety-critical systems and using formal standard such as ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR, etc..\n\n* Experience with decomposition of safety requirements/goals within software.\n\n* Deep experience with all aspects of requirements management for safety-related systems\n\n* Excellent communication skills \n\n* Systems-level thinking, with underlying engineering knowledge of the complex physical and software systems used in autonomy technologies. \n\n* Knowledge in the following disciplines:  Software engineering, C++ & safety critical systems. \n\n* Position might require occasional travel to Torc locations\n\n\n\n\nBonus Points! \n\n\n* Experience with ROS (Robotic Operating System) is a plus!\n\n* Experience with networking is a plus!\n\n* Experience with artificial intelligence/machine learning is a plus!\n\n\n\n\nPerks of Being a Full-time Torcโ€™r \n\nTorc cares about our team members and we strive to provide benefits and resources to support their health, work/life balance, and future. \nOur Flight Operations Team is seeking a Field Applications Engineer (FAE). You would serve as a primary technical point of contact for Andurilโ€™s customers.
