0x Project is hiring a
Remote Software Engineer Frontend Matcha

\n\nCOMPANY\n\n\nAt 0x Labs, our mission is to create a tokenized world where all value can flow freely. Weโ€™re a mission-driven and diverse team composed of world class talent from Coinbase, Google, Meta, Bitso, Citi, Spotify and other top companies. We are a remote-first and fully distributed company, with team members located across all of the continents besides Antarctica. As early pioneers in the space, weโ€™ve made significant technical contributions to various Ethereum standards over the years; fun fact - our team helped establish the NFT token standard (ERC721).\n\nIn joining us, you'll take part in transforming the way that value is exchanged on a global scale. We're passionate about open-source software and decentralized technology's potential to act as an equalizing force in the world, and our technology is deployed by a wide array of projects at the forefront of internet and economic advancement.\n\nFounded in 2017, 0x Labs created and now partakes in the development of 0x protocol: the open-source, global backbone for decentralized exchange. Alongside the core protocol, we also build and maintain products and service offerings including Matcha, the search engine for tokens, and 0x API, the endpoint for multi-chain aggregated liquidity. All of these offerings allow 0x Labs to continue marching towards our vision of building a tokenized world where all value can flow freely at the best prices and with the lowest transaction costs. This way, we can help businesses eliminate the complexity of accessing decentralized markets across all layers of the Web3 exchange stack and have more time to focus on what matters most: their product. \n\n0x currently supports 8 major blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon, Fantom, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain, and Celo, and the 0x ecosystem has been rapidly expanding. With integrations across all of the top wallets and apps, including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet and Coinbase NFT, Polygon Wallet, Brave, Matcha, dYdX, Zapper, Zerion, and Shapeshift, 0x is fast becoming the trusted standard for all decentralized exchange.\n\nWeโ€™re a remote-first company with core contributors in nearly ten countries and over twice as many cities. Our headquarters is in San Francisco, with an office available for anyone on the team to use at any time. Weโ€™ll consider your application regardless of where you call home.\n\n\nMATCHA\n\nMatcha is 0x Labsโ€™ first consumer-facing product. Built on top of 0x API, Matcha is a meticulously designed decentralized exchange that makes it safe and easy for anyone in the world to access crypto assets on the Ethereum blockchain. We provide users with the best prices by aggregating liquidity from all of the major decentralized exchanges and splitting/routing orders intelligently. \n\nBy focusing on user experience and education, Matcha will onboard the next wave of users into the DeFi ecosystem. As a Front-End Engineer on the team, youโ€™ll take large and early part in building out this flagship product.\n\nYouโ€™ll work closely alongside:\n\n\n* \nTom Herbert, Matcha's Engineering Manager. Before joining 0x Labs, Tom was the VP of Engineering at Treatment where his team built an AI-powered medical diagnosis engine. Prior to that role, he was CTO at a large socially conscious couponing organization, where he led teams that built applications to connect millions of users to nonprofits across the globe.\n\n* \nAnshu Das, Matcha's Product Lead. Before joining 0x Labs, Anshu was a Senior Product Manager at Spotify, where he was Product Lead for Spotify Wrapped as well as other key product launches. Prior to Spotify, Anshu led growth and core product initiatives at both large companies and startups including Snapchat and Nextdoor.\n\n* A small (and growing) team of world-class engineers, designers, data scientists, marketers and\n\n* Various other teams and stakeholders across 0x Labs\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMATCHA TECH STACK\n\nWe donโ€™t care much about your experience with our stack (or any specific stack); we care far more that someone has solid fundamentals, is generally intelligent, has strong learning agility, and is an overall good human. We understand it takes time to ramp, and weโ€™re happy to invest with the right person if necessary. \n\nThat said, weโ€™re excited about the rapidly evolving tech weโ€™re building on. It includes:\n\n\n* Next.js\n\n* React (we use Hooks heavily!)\n\n* TypeScript\n\n* react-spring and react-use-gesture for high-performance animations and interactions\n\n* styled-components\n\n* AlchemyAPI and ethers 5.0 for interacting with Ethereum\n\n* Vercel for continuous deployment and infrastructure\n\n* Linear for project management\n\n\n\n\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\n\n* Create trustworthy user experiences by building, testing, and shipping features that are simple, intuitive, performant, and reliable\n\n* Own entire features from specification to shipping\n\n* Work effectively with a high degree of autonomy, within a collaboratively minded team\n\n* Keep abreast of the nascent and rapidly evolving blockchain space, and introduce innovative tools and products\n\n* Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams, including engineering (internal and external), design, research, data science, product management, executive leadership, and recruiting\n\n* Be a steward and influencer of our early engineering culture\n\n\n\n\n\nREQUIREMENTS\n\n\n* Bachelor's or equivalent\n\n* Experience with modern JavaScript\n\n* Experience with React\n\n* Experience with CSS/HTML\n\n* Passion for the benefits of decentralization and the 0x mission\n\n\n* Exhibit our core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPREFERRED\n\n\n* Proficiency with TypeScript (Matcha is written completely in strict-mode TypeScript)\n\n* Experience optimizing front-end performance (we take application performance very seriously)\n \n\n\n\n\n\nBENEFITS\n\n\nCompetitive salary and equity with occasional cryptocurrency-based perks\n\nComprehensive insurance (medical/dental/vision/life/disability) โ€” 100% covered for you and dependents\n\n401k, HSA, and FSA for U.S.-based employees\n\nMonthly mobile phone bill, wellness, and pre-tax transportation expense\n\nCovered mental health benefits (included professional therapy sessions)\n\nFlexible hours, liberal work-from-home policy, and a supportive remote environment\n\nLunch reimbursement for all employees across the globe!\n\nStipend for your ideal remote / WFH set-up: laptop, headphones, and any other work gear you may need\n\n12-week paid parental leave\n\nGreat office conveniently located in Soma/East Cut, SF\n\nUnlimited vacation: Take time when you need it (and we really mean it)\n\n\nMultiple annual in-person team meet-ups around the globe \n\n\n\n\n\n0x Labs and its associated entities (0x) are dedicated to fostering diversity, inclusion, and belonging in its teams and workforce, and are proud to be equal opportunity employers. 0x does not make employment or hiring decisions on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender expression or identity, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, citizenship, national origin, or any other basis that is protected by applicable local, state, or federal laws. 0x will also consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in a way that is consistent with San Franciscoโ€™s Fair Chance Ordinance and similar local laws.\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Defi, Crypto, NFT, Ethereum, Typescript, Mobile, Senior and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $130,000/year\n

Tailorbird, Inc. is hiring a
Remote Principal Full Stack Developer

About the Company\n\nTailorbird's vision is to organize any renovation, instantly. Within the multifamily real estate industry, our mission is to earn the trust of owners, contractors, and suppliers to help them move faster, remove risks, and improve outcomes. We're backed by NFX, Bloomberg Beta, Fifth Wall, Moderne Ventures, FJ Labs, and Kleiner Perkins.\n\nWeโ€™re building the โ€œEasy Buttonโ€ for elegant home renovations, using analytics and automation to accelerate acquisition and renovation of large multi-family assets. Our proprietary software extracts deep digital models of interior residential spaces using publicly available data, and we use this data to accurately estimate budgets and identify project risks upfront, thus avoiding costly execution delays and rework costs. We are currently in hyper-growth mode and proud to have some of the largest and most reputable owners, contractors, and suppliers as our customers in the US!\n\nWeโ€™re a global organization with distributed teams in the US, Latin America and India, and our HQ is located on the campus of Princeton University in Princeton, NJ.\nAbout the Role\n\nYou will be our principal full-stack developer for Tailorbird web and mobile applications.  You will be a senior leader working across scrum teams and responsible for designing and implementing new component and services. You will be a player-coach with a track record of recruiting and building high performance feature teams. This is the most senior technical role in our organization. You will closely work with a talented team of other senior developers and the chief architect to build highly responsive web and mobile applications. As an early hire in a fast-growing startup, you will have a tremendous opportunity to grow as a leader, responsible for both product delivery and organizational growth. Our tech stack consists of ReactJS and NodeJS with MongoDB and PostgreSQL  as storage.  We also use Python for data-intensive server side services. \nThis role is remote in India.\nYouโ€™ll Get To\n\n\n* Architect and design new components and services for the Tailorbird Platform\n\n* Develop end2end  application logic using React.js, Node.js with Typescript or Python\n\n* Closely work with product managers, business operation associates, senior developers, and the chief architect to influence product engineering decisions\n\n* Closely work with key business leaders to understand product roadmaps and continuously evaluate Tailorbird design choices\n\n\n\nWeโ€™re Looking For\n\n\n* 6+ years of full stack web and mobile application development experience, with at least 3 years as a player-coach responsible for direct hiring and growing the team.\n\n* BS/MS from a tier-1 college or university with CS/CES/EE as a major is highly desired.\n\n* Proven track record of referenceable, successful mentees.\n\n* Experience building enterprise class applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.\n\n* Demonstrable ability to quickly master new frameworks.\n\n* Excellent soft skills - you are a naturally charismatic, thoughtful communicator who is practiced in influencing others and obtaining stakeholder buy-in.\n\n\n\nWhy Tailorbird \n\nOur Founders are experienced entrepreneurs and Fortune 100 executives with proven operating experience to launch and scale new ventures, and a history of successful company exits. We have deep domain expertise in at-scale SaaS platforms, Deep Learning and Analytics, Construction Operations, Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions, and Renovation Design and Architecture. \n\nMost importantly, we know that Tailorbirdโ€™s people are what make our product exceptional. When we approach a problem or create a solution, we rely on our values to guide us.\n\n\nNoble Intent โ€“ We assume everyone has good intentions. We build trust by doing what we say, and saying what we do. \n\nLevel of Excellence โ€“ Building technology and process to drive the fastest operational edge that redefines expectations.\n\nTeamwork โ€“ We collaborate, mentor, and facilitate transparent decision making. Once made, decisions are supported.\n\nTrust โ€“ To earn, and keep, the trust of every stakeholder whereby information is shared transparently for faster and fairer decisions.\n\nDiversity โ€“ Going to any extent to enrich ourselves through expertise, critical thinking, and global perspectives.\n\n\n\n\nReasons to consider not taking this role at Tailorbird:\n\nPlease note: We value transparency and we intend to set expectations accurately. Working at Tailorbird is a thrilling journey and we want to ensure this is a fit for both you and our team.\n\n\n* Typically, early-stage startup teams work based on goals, not time sheets. This is not a "clock in, clock out" type of environment. You are expected to balance the freedom of flexible working hours with the responsibility of delivering on time and excellent work.\n\n* Startup environments will undoubtedly test your tolerance for ambiguity. We don't always have the answer. Sometimes, you'll be given a high-level objective and you will need to devise a plan to execute on time.\n\n* Building a product requires inner calm and motivation: the ability to not grow frustrated if a process changes or a mistake is made is critical for success. \n\n\n\nBenefit & Perks\n\n\nOpportunity for equity in an early-stage, venture-backed company.\n\nOpen PTO policy\n\nCompany-paid medical/dental/vision insurance for employees and dependents.\n\n\n\nTailorbird is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing all employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We celebrate diversity and welcome applicants from every background and life experience.  \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, SaaS, Python, Scrum, Cloud, Typescript, Mobile, Senior and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $120,000/year\n

Pyth Network is hiring a
Remote Senior Software Engineer

\nWe are looking for software engineers to help us build a decentralized protocol to connect market data providers to DeFi applications. This task includes building the on-chain programs, developer SDKs, tooling, monitoring, frontends and more. We also need help defining the product itself, so we are looking for people who understand the DeFi ecosystem and can help us identify and capitalize on new opportunities.\n\nAbout Us and the Job\n\n\n* We are a small team. About half the team is technical; the other half manages relationships with data providers, developers, and the broader community. (Building a network requires talking to people!)\n\n* We are mostly remote. Team members live across the world, in the US, Europe, and Asia. We do have offices in some locations (Porto, Chicago, London, Amsterdam, Singapore) for those who prefer in-office work.\n\n* Our team communicates with each other and external developers in English. Strong spoken and written English skills are required.\n\n* We operate like a startup in the rapidly-growing and changing DeFi ecosystem. In order to be successful, we must adapt to meet the current needs of the market. Good candidates will help our organization adapt; they are flexible problem solvers who are willing and able to jump on whatever the occasion demands.\n\n* Most of our software development is open source. You can look at our github repositories to understand what we typically work on.\n\n* Our success depends on external developers using our price feeds, so a great developer experience is critical to our success. Good candidates will be able to empathize with developers and build elegant, easy-to-use APIs to fit their needs. They will also be able to produce clear developer documentation for these APIs.\n\n* We offer a competitive salary and generous benefits package. Furthermore, where applicable, employees may be eligible for token allocations as part of Pyth Networkโ€™s employee incentive program.\n\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Do:\n\n\n* Collaborate to design, build, and maintain on- and off-chain Pyth related applications, including smart contracts on multiple layer-1 runtimes, developer SDKs, frontends, and various utility programs.\n\n* Work with business development, sales, and other functions to determine the long-term roadmap for the project. This is your chance to guide the future of finance.\n\n* Mentor junior engineers -- lead by example and provide targeted feedback on software design and documentation to help team members grow.\n\n* Assist the broader community of developers to build applications using Pyth Network data. Speak with developers over chat or at conferences to understand their needs. Develop SDKs, documentation, and other artifacts for this audience.\n\n\n\n\nSkills You'll Need:\n\n\n* Strong software engineering skills. Relevant experience building and operating large, safety-critical systems is a plus. Blockchain development experience is not strictly required for this position; we expect that most engineers will be able to learn on the job.\n\n* Ability to work in a startup-like fast-paced environment to meet the demands of a rapidly-changing market.\n\n* Familiarity or willingness to learn Rust, Solidity, Python, Typescript and C++.\n\n* Excellent technical communication skills for interacting with non-technical team members and external developers.\n\n* Ability to work with engineers of different experience levels. Technical leadership experience is a plus.\n\n* Ability to handle periodic on-call duties\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Design, Defi, Typescript, Senior, Junior, Engineer and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $65,000 — $125,000/year\n \n\n#Location\nGlobal

๐Ÿ‘‰ Please reference you found the job on Remote OK, this helps us get more companies to post here, thanks!

When applying for jobs, you should NEVER have to pay to apply. You should also NEVER have to pay to buy equipment which they then pay you back for later. Also never pay for trainings you have to do. Those are scams! NEVER PAY FOR ANYTHING! Posts that link to pages with "how to work online" are also scams. Don't use them or pay for them. Also always verify you're actually talking to the company in the job post and not an imposter. A good idea is to check the domain name for the site/email and see if it's the actual company's main domain name. Scams in remote work are rampant, be careful! Read more to avoid scams. When clicking on the button to apply above, you will leave Remote OK and go to the job application page for that company outside this site. Remote OK accepts no liability or responsibility as a consequence of any reliance upon information on there (external sites) or here.
