We build products to maximally decentralize public blockchains, redistribute MEV, and empower users. We work closely with our community to ensure that our products have a positive impact, are secure, and can be used in production at scale.\n\nOur Impact\nSince the launch of Flashbots, we have had an immense impact on the world of cryptocurrency. The Flashbots Auction was launched in alpha in January 2021 and was quickly adopted by almost all Ethereum miners. Prior to Ethereum's Merge in 2022, Flashbots launched MEV-Boost, a temporary solution for out-of-protocol proposer-builder separation. MEV-Boost has since been adopted by over 90% of Ethereum validators and has significantly influenced the Ethereum PoS ecosystem. Now, Flashbots continues its journey with the introduction of novel privacy primitives and SUAVE.\n\nOur Research\nFlashbots Research is an independent arm of the organization that aims to become the hub of MEV research. In addition to conducting in-house analysis, Flashbots Research collaborates with external researchers at other institutions via an external grants program. Flashbots Research continues to publish seminal research on MEV, covering a wide range of topics including cross-chain MEV, EIP1559 and MEV, how ETH2 affects MEV, SGX and privacy, and more. Aztec is hiring a
Remote Proving Systems Security Engineer

\nAbout Aztec\n\nAt Aztec, our goal is to take the original promise of Ethereumโ€“a decentralized and verifiable world computerโ€“and expand its capability immensely by making it fully encrypted.\n\nIn the current public blockchain paradigm, users and entities unknowingly broadcast data in the public, compromising privacy and security to get trustlessness.\n\nNot only are unencrypted blockchains inherently privacy-exposing, they require significant redundancy to compute and verify the legitimacy of transactions.\n\nImplementing scalable encryption in a public blockchain paradigm requires cutting-edge math and engineering. Thankfully, our team of scientists and engineers invented Plonk, the industry-standard zkSNARK, and Noir, the universal language of zero knowledge.\n\nNow, weโ€™re building a first of its kind public-private encrypted blockchain: Ethereum, encrypted. And itโ€™s now time to bring it to market.\n\nWeโ€™ve raised $125 million from industry-leading investors including a16z crypto, Paradigm, Variant, Consensys, and a_capital, and weโ€™re growing quickly.\n\nย Role\n\nWe are looking for an applied cryptographer or a cybersecurity professional with love for applied cryptography, and with experience in auditing and breaking cryptographic protocols, to explore and secure our proving system stack. In this role you will be required to dive deep into the Zero Knowledge proving systemsโ€™ code, find bugs and potential issues, and create tooling to automate security checks. You will also be required to write specifications for these systems to assist external auditors\n\nRequired Experience\n\n\n* Security experience in a software eng context (โ‰ฅ 3 years)\n\n* Industry (or large-project academic) programming experience in a low-level language (e.g., Rust or C++)\n\n* Familiarity with applied cryptography and discrete mathematics (fields, elliptic curves)\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills on technical topics\n\n* Participation in CTFs in a cryptography role a plus\n\n\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n\n* Flexible and remote work environment\n\n* 25 days holiday + bank holidays annually\n\n* Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.\n\n* Quarterly offsite travel for collaborationย \n\n* Events and conference budget\n\n* An opportunity to work at the cutting edge of blockchain and FinTech with a world class cryptography and engineering team\n\n\n\n\nAztec Labs is an equal opportunity employer and we value creativity, diversity, and intellectual curiosity. If you're passionate about leveraging your creative talents to make a real-world impact, and if you want to be part of a team that's shaping the future of digital privacy, then we would love to hear from you.\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Travel and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $107,500 — $160,000/year\n

The Senior Data Analyst will report directly to the VP of Data & Analytics, a healthcare data practitioner with over a decade of experience in early-stage healthcare startups. They will work alongside a team of experienced Analytics Engineers and Data Analysts to build out and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics solutions to better understand our patient population using a combination of SQL, dbt, and Looker. The Senior Data Analyst will be  designing and building analytics models, reports, and dashboards to enable and empower Empassion and our customers to better understand their patients. We strive to build sustainable data products that our users can operate themselves day-to-day, but are highly responsive when the business has additional data needs and questions.\n\n\nWe are a remote company, fully distributed across the United States. We prioritize our work activities weekly and hold ourselves accountable to deliverables. We use Slack as a team and have regular Zoom touch points. We have full team offsites 2x per year and additional travel as needed (both to improve work productivity and build team trust). We are dedicated to cultivating relationships built for trust and meaningful experiences that promote your growth. We recognize the value of autonomy, flexibility, and ownership while not losing sight of the importance of real-life experiences. We do not accept anything less than respectful, supportive, and growth-oriented teammates.\n\n\n\nWhat you will do\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and report on data from a variety sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy.\n* Calculate novel metrics from our proprietary application data to understand how patients are moving through care programs and the quality of care theyโ€™re receiving from their providers.\n* Design, develop, and maintain algorithms and data models, using SQL and dbt.\n* Use Looker to create visually appealing and informative dashboards and reports to communicate data insights and enable data-driven decision-making by our stakeholders.\n* Create documentation and training materials for technical and non-technical users of our data products\n* Work with your fellow data analysts and analytics engineers to co-author a coherent and intuitive data warehouse, providing feedback on approaches, code review, and a sense of shared ownership.\n* Expect to spend your โ€œbuilding timeโ€ roughly evenly split between dbt, LookML, and Looker dashboards / analysis.\n\n\n\n\nWhat you will bring\n* 4+ years of experience in data analytics or analytics engineering, having delivered actionable insights and compelling visualizations to Operations, Finance, or Clinical  teams\n* 2+ years of experience in seed / series A startups\n* Strong SQL, dbt, and Looker skills\n* Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences (peers, engineers, operations, external customers)\n* Excitement about working in a fast-moving startup environment\n* A bias for action and enthusiasm for fast iteration and creative problem solving\n* A desire to learn more about the operational workflows of our business and the healthcare delivery system as a whole\n\n\n\nNice to have\n* Familiarity with the basics of healthcare delivery and data sources/standards (Claims, ADT, etc.)\n* Experience working with Product-Dev teams to thoroughly understand data generated by nascent django or other internally-built applications\n* Experience with git / github\n\n\n\nHow work affects my life\n* Competitive compensation with a simple and clear compensation philosophy\n* Coworkers who are best-in-class clinicians, operators, and technologists\n* Opportunities to grow your skill set and a preference for internal promotions\n* A role where you can finish challenging days knowing youโ€™re making a difference working on a truly important problem\n\n\n\n\n$145,000 - $185,000 a year\n\nRemote vs. In person\nThough Empassion is a fully remote company, we do have programming and events which require us to be in person, including team and company-wide meetings.  \n\n\nSecurity\nEmpassion will never ask for bank information (e.g. account and routing number), social security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information to be delivered via email. If you receive a scam email or wish to report a security issue involving Empassion, please notify us at: [email protected] \n\n\nEEO\nWe want you to know: You can be a great candidate even if you don't fit everything we've described above.

And itโ€™s now time to bring it to market.\n\nWeโ€™ve raised $125 million from industry-leading investors including a16z crypto, Paradigm, Variant, Consensys, and a_capital, and weโ€™re growing quickly.\n\n Role\n\nWe are looking for an applied cryptographer or a cybersecurity professional with love for applied cryptography, and with experience in auditing and breaking cryptographic protocols, to explore and secure our proving system stack. In this role you will be required to dive deep into the Zero Knowledge proving systemsโ€™ code, find bugs and potential issues, and create tooling to automate security checks. You will also be required to write specifications for these systems to assist external auditors\n\nRequired Experience\n\n\n* Security experience in a software eng context (โ‰ฅ 3 years)\n\n* Industry (or large-project academic) programming experience in a low-level language (e.g., Rust or C++)\n\n* Familiarity with applied cryptography and discrete mathematics (fields, elliptic curves)\n\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills on technical topics\n\n* Participation in CTFs in a cryptography role a plus\n\n\n\nWhat we offer:\n\n\n* Flexible and remote work environment\n\n* 25 days holiday + bank holidays annually\n\n* Additional benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for professional development.\n\n* Quarterly offsite travel for collaboration \n\n* Events and conference budget\n\n* An opportunity to work at the cutting edge of blockchain and FinTech with a world class cryptography and engineering team\n\n\n\n\nAztec Labs is an equal opportunity employer and we value creativity, diversity, and intellectual curiosity. If you're passionate about leveraging your creative talents to make a real-world impact, and if you want to be part of a team that's shaping the future of digital privacy, then we would love to hear from you.\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Engineer and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $70,000 — $110,000/year\n
