The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering data tools, telemetry, dashboards and compelling insights to influence game development and growth. You will be someone who has a good balance of business thinking alongside analytical and technical skills.\nWhat You Will Do:\n\nReporting directly to the Senior Director of Mobile Analytics, you will be responsible for: \n\n\n* Business Insight: Understand the problems our Studios and partners want to solve for, and then define the right data, metrics, analysis and interpretation to lead to the right recommendations and decisions\n\n* Understand players: Help us to further understand, model, predict, segment and retain our players and enable our Studios to launch new titles, develop features, \n\n* and live ops events. \n\n* ETL pipeline: Owning ETL pipeline for one of our top titles by partnering closely with data engineering\n\n* Telemetry design: Collaborating with our studio developers and designing in-game telemetry to measure player behavior\n\n* Being the technical data expert in communications with stakeholders and providing regular game health updates to stakeholders as well as leadership teams.\n\n* Creating and maintaining reporting dashboards: overseeing data quality, amalgamate data from multiple sources for creating and tracking key KPIs.\n\n\n\nWhat Will Make You a Great Fit\n\n\n* 4+ years of work experience in data science or analytics role\n\n* SQL: The ability to write complex SQL queries to analyze our databases with millions of players and work with relational database systems.\n\n* Familiar with querying in Snowflake, Redshift, Postgres etc.\n\n* Analytical coding: Fluency in programming via languages such as Python or R\n\n* Visualization: Adept in at least one visualization tool such as Tableau or Looker\n\n* Tech skill: Proven experience with some or all of the following: statistics, experimental design, machine learning, predictive modeling, deep learning\n\n* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with different functions with changing priorities\n\n* Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, game designers, game engineers, marketing and other analysts to deliver unambiguous business impact\n\n* Excellent attention to detail, natural curiosity, and ability to problem-solve creatively\n\n* Great communication and presentation skills to be able to converse with both technical and non-technical audiences.\n\n* Self starter- proactively dive deep into the data, develop analytical hypotheses and come up with actionable insights for improving the product. \n\n\n\nBonus Points\n\n\n* Consistent track record in data challenges in similar roles, preferably within mobile gaming or similarly customer- facing digital businesses\n\n* Familiarity with telemetry/analytics SaaS tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude)\n\n* Familiarity with massive data sets and tools to deal with them (E.g. The pay range for this position for applicants based in Colorado at the start of employment is expected to be between $98,000 and $140,000 per year.
