SafetyWingย (YC W18) seeks anย Outreach Manager (YouTube)ย  to support our growing Partnerships team and our network of Ambassadors with care and personalized attention as we scale the program.

Partnerships with affiliates and content creators have successfully supported the tremendous growth of SafetyWing since the launch of the Nomad Insurance product in 2019.

Our influencer program (the ambassador program) was created in-house and designed according to our unique values of authenticity and simplicity. As a result, it became the most strategic growth channel for Nomad Insurance, accounting for more than 35% of sales.

๐Ÿ’ป Your responsibilities will include

  • Identifying the best YouTube creators that could fit our affiliate program well.
  • Reaching out to these creators using genuine outreach/messaging.
  • Signing up ambassadors through 1:1 calls and pitch presentations.
  • Helping them create the first piece of content that includes SafetyWing products.
  • Monitoring the results from both the outreach efforts and the Ambassadorsโ€™ successes.
  • Helping in finding creative ways to scale the acquisition of quality ambassadors for SafetyWing.

๐Ÿงช We are looking for someone who

  • Has experience and a strong interest in developing in the sales/partnerships field.
  • Has hands-on experience working with YouTube content creators.
  • Has experience working autonomously and understands remote work specifics.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understands influence marketing, blogging and SEO.
  • Has a โ€œgo-getter attitudeโ€: an entrepreneurial spirit who creatively solves problems and works independently.

๐Ÿ’ป Your responsibilities will include

  • Taking full responsibility for ensuring the successful operation of the SafetyWing Remote Health Insurance API channel.
  • Collaborating closely with the platform sales team to identify and recommend new integration prospects, introducing new partners to the benefits of embedding SafetyWing insurance products.
  • Work closely with customer product teams to identify and qualify market-fit opportunities for integrating SafetyWing insurance products into platform partner offerings.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of APIs to promote and prioritize customer product requirements, working closely with the engineering team to ensure seamless integration.

๐Ÿงช We are looking for someone who

  • Has embedded products within other value propositions, preferably via APIs.
  • Has a background in selling integrated solutions to B2B service providers.
  • Has managed engineering resources or at least worked closely one-on-one with developers.
  • Ideally, has an engineering background and has worked directly with a proprietary codebase.
  • Has a good understanding of how intermediary platforms operate and what drives purchase decisions. Having experience from having built or had a leadership role in a freelancer platform would be a great advantage.
  • Has experience with product management and sales and has been responsible for performance of a product/channel.
  • Understands how to build and scale a revenue channel.

Our stack is React + Meteor/Node, (mostly) all Typescript, running on AWS, with Cypress tests. Weโ€™re Linux people, but you can be of a different persuasion if you have a good argument for it. Responsibilitiesย 

  • Full stack development on the simulation platform, in feature / simulation development and bug fixing. Weโ€™ll see what areas you like and have you work on that. Examples include:ย 

  • New business simulations in related fieldsย 

  • Existing game features and balanceย 

  • Exercise and event framework to enhance learning and engagementย 

  • Back end to improve performance and stabilityย 

  • Integrations to learning management systems or the sales teamย 

  • Write end-to-end tests for features you make, and unit-tests where they are necessary.ย 

  • 3rd level technical support when one of us has done something terribly wrong.ย 

  • Review PRs from the team, to keep us in lineย

The Role:


We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer for one of our clients. You are a perfect candidate if you are growth-oriented, you love what you do, and you enjoy working on new ideas to develop exciting products.ย 


What we are looking for:


  • +5 years of solid experience as a Data Engineer in a top-notch environment.

  • +3 years of experience with Cloud Infrastructures (e.g. Azure or AWS), virtualization, and containerization environments (e.g. VMware, Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Strong knowledge of software development processes including testing, continuous integration/delivery, automated deployment, and verification/maintenance.

  • High degree of ambition for self-improvement and self-initiative.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Intermediate-advanced English level.

  • You can communicate well with both technical and non-technical clients.


Nice-to-have:ย 

  • Experience in data warehousing and data modeling.

  • Solid understanding of relational database systems.

  • Knowledge of working with Apache Spark.

  • Time zone: CET (+/- 3 hours).

  • Azure certifications in Cloud development and architecture would be a plus.

Competency in implementing the best practices in AI/ML development to ensure the data pipelines and solutions are:


  • Effectively and efficiently tailored towards specific applications (automated processes on hybrid cloud/on-prem infrastructure).
