\nNEAR Foundation is hiring a Paralegal to join our Legal team. This individual will provide comprehensive support to the legal team across several key areas, including KYC/AML, document preparation, research, and contract management. Furthermore, the individual will support vendor management and general legal operations. Ideally, This individual can take ownership of some of these tasks and work autonomously.\n\nYou will\n\n\n* Take ownership of AML/KYC duties and escalate issues\n\n* Be meticulous at record keeping \n\n* Assist in contract management process and risk management & mitigation\n\n* Assist in contract drafting and review as needed\n\n\n\n\nYou have\n\n\n* Had legal or compliance training and/or experience of working within a law firm or legal department.\n\n* Familiarity with KYC/AML regulations and processes. Ability to take ownership of processes, identify red flags, and offer new ideas. \n\n* Familiarity with various contracts and ability to thoroughly review simple contracts and provide feedback/edits. \n\n* A highly organized and self-starter personality. Within the Chicago office location, this position collaborates closely with other staff team leaders to strategically plan for and place volunteers in service alongside World Relief staff. This includes recruitment, screening, training, placement, support and supervision, and appreciation and retention of volunteers who serve in the GNT and HOME Team programs.\n* Collaborate with church mobilization colleagues to provide details for meetings and represent World Relief at events to recruit for GNTโ€™s and HOME teams.\n* Collaborate closely with case management teams for placement of GNT and HOME team volunteers with clients, and to ensure teams are partnering with clients in a helpful and empowering manner. The Idaho Project Specialist will directly assist with the implementation and adoption of Wonderschool throughout the state.
