Finally, the FBN Territory Manager is critical to the commercialization process for new products and services being launched on a regular basis. \n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nThe FBN Senior Territory Manager will be responsible for recruiting farmers and maintaining high grower satisfaction with FBN. They will also provide a seamless and highly differentiated crop input transaction experience while maintaining high grower sanctification with FBN from post-harvest conversations all the way to pre-season delivery. Territory Managers help recruit, train and manage territory Community Builders. This role supports a predetermined territory and market area (Southern Ontario, Chatham or London would be ideal locations for the selected candidate) and will recruit farmers to join the network in person and through electronic means. Territory Managers will also help farmers access FBN Direct โ a revolutionary way for growers to purchase crop inputs that provides farmers with price transparency on hundreds of products and a way to source low-cost chemicals delivered straight to the farm. FBN Direct has saved thousands of dollars for hundreds of farmers through its offerings. \n\nFinally, the FBN Territory Manager is critical to the commercialization process for new products and services being launched on a regular basis.\n\nResponsibilities \n\nThe FBN Territory Manager will be responsible for recruiting farmers and maintaining high grower satisfaction with FBN. They will also provide a seamless and highly differentiated crop input transaction experience while maintaining high grower sanctification with FBN from post-harvest conversations all the way to pre-season delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the following activities: \n\n\n* Achieve chemical sales goals (gross profit, revenue, etc.)\n\n* \n\nRecruit, train and develop Community Builderโs to adequately cover the assigned territory \n\n\n* \n\nUnderstand a growerโs crop input needs throughout the season and forecast based on the seed and chemical projected sales/product needs.\n\n\n* \n\nDevelop a territory business plan to achieve objectives\n\n\n* \n\nWork with each Community Builder to build a Revenue & Action Plan that defines the goals and sets expectations for the working relationship\n\n\n* \n\nLead product demonstrations and presentations to Community Builders and farmers . \n\n\n* \n\nPromote the collection of data from farmers to build a successful crop protection and seed plan customized to the farmerโs needs\n\n\n* \n\nUse Salesforce to manage, prioritize, and document all interactions and sales processes with Community Builders and farmers. \n\n\n* \n\nOrganize and manage sales events within the territory. \n\n\n* \n\nDocument and report suggestions from Community Builders and farmers for process improvement \n\n\n* \n\nRepresent FBN at various farm industry trade shows/events.\n\n\n* \n\nEducate Community Builders and Farmers how to construct orders through FBNโs online platform\n\n\n* \n\nOther duties as assigned\n\n\n\n\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\n\n* \n\nVery strong communication and interpersonal skills with a heightened sensitivity to the issues farmers face. \n\n\n* \n\n7+ years experience as a district, regional or territory manager selling products or services directly to farmers or through a dealer network. \n\n\n* \n\nAbility to adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.\n\n\n* \n\nKnowledge of agriculture inputs products required \n\n\n* \n\nStrong domain experience and background in farming, production agriculture, retail or input sales. \n\n\n* \n\nCandidates must be comfortable with technology and ideally the latest precision Ag Systems; experience with Salesforce is nice to have but not required. \n\n\n* \n\nBackground in Agronomy and/or territory management, including, but not limited to, the management and use of agronomic data. \n\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n\n* \n\nBachelors or advanced degree\n\n\n* \n\n7+ years sales experience in agriculture managing and exceeding monthly and annual quotas selling directly to farmers. \n\n\n* \n\nSuccessful completion of safety training and DOT Hazmat certification course \n\n\n* \n\nMulti-generational farm, farm hand or farm related background.\n\n\n* \n\nCross-functional experience working across the enterprise. \n\n\n* \n\nExperience balancing execution, agility and culture at a fast growing business.\n\n\n\n\n\nTo understand the physical demands of this job, please click this link and refer to Template A\nFBN is proud to be an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
