We are also constantly improving features on our APIs and Smart Contracts on both Ethereum L1 & L2 as well as building the early stage bricks of a future decentralized community owned system!Requirements\nAs a web3 backend engineer, you will \n- Build and improve ParaSwap's core system, including web3 components and smart contracts\n- Become an expert in major DeFi protocols as well as Layer 2 scaling solutions \n- Help developers and partners like Aave & Ledger build on ParaSwap \n- Ensure users have a highly secure and scalable system\n- Be a leader that has a direct impact on the product roadmap\n- Make a significant impact using open-source code\n\n\nDesired skills\n- Strong Computer Science background\n- Strong software engineering experience using NodeJS/TypeScript\n- Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and frameworks\n- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks\n- Work well in both a small agile team and independently\n- Bonus: Experience writing Smart Contracts and understanding the EVM\n\n\nPersonal characteristics\n * Strong team player, able to collaborate with cross-functional/ markets.\n * Excellent relationship-building and engagement with people from various backgrounds, roles, and levels\n * Lateral thinker & problem solver.
