Valendo’s founding team is made up of serial healthcare entrepreneurs with decades of experience in value based specialty care and a passion for improving care for people with diabetes.  We deliver the Valendo Health Value Based Endocrinology Program in three phases: \n\n* \n\nImplement virtual care visits and remote monitoring for patients with diabetes\n\n\n* \n\nCentralize and streamline practice operations\n\n\n* \n\nDevelop and manage value-based care contracts\n\n\n\nAbout the Job\n\nAs the VP of Practice Operations, you will share our passion for improving healthcare and play a key role in the effort to implement virtual care services within our initial endocrinology practice customers, in collaboration with Cecelia Health, our virtual care partner. In addition, you will play a key role in identifying opportunities and processes for improving, streamlining and scaling practice operations. This role will also be involved in the care and risk management activities associated with succeeding in value-based care contracts.  \n\nYou will oversee provider partnerships, establishing operational significance of our virtual care services and instituting operational workflows that help to achieve our goal of providing a world class patient experience and an improvement in clinical outcomes.\n\nYou will report to and work with the stealth venture’s CEO. This position can be fully remote within the United States, but will require regular travel to practice partners around the country and to Valendo Health’s headquarters in Boston.\nWhat you’ll do:\n\n\n* Define and create an operational workflow designed to integrate virtual care services into practice operations\n\n* Oversee the daily operations of our program across multiple endocrinology practices, ensuring smooth functioning and high-quality patient care\n\n* Establish continuous feedback loops with the clinical team; work with the care team to address any bottlenecks and document best practices to drive efficiency and effectiveness as we scale\n\n* Collaborate with physicians, healthcare teams, and external partners to enhance service delivery and drive practice growth\n\n* Identify and execute opportunities for Valendo Health to develop centralized, value-added management services as part of the company’s Phase 2 offering\n\n* Proactively identify opportunities through new practice partnership, provider recruiting, and new product development opportunities\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll need:\n\n\n* 5+ years of medical practice management and leadership experience\n\n* Significant operational experience with progressive leadership responsibilities and an entrepreneurial orientation\n\n* Practice management experience, preferably in endocrinology or similar type of medical specialty\n\n* Experience building and managing operational teams and outside business partners to deliver products or services that impact patient outcomes\n\n* Experience with financial management, data analysis, and healthcare technology tools\n\n* Experience implementing and billing for telehealth and/or care management services such as CCM, PCM, RPM, CGM, DSMT, MNT etc. is preferred\n\n* Tech-enabled and telehealth experience is preferred\n\n* Value-based care experience is preferred\n\n* Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred\n\n\n\nWhat you’ll bring to the table:\n\n\n* Proven ability to build relationships with medical practices\n\n* Integrated understanding of how practice operations tie in with product strategy, go-to-market, and fundraising\n\n* Strong analytical and project management skills\n\n* Entrepreneurial spirit\n\n* Passion for improving healthcare for patients and providers\n\n\n\nWho you are:\n\n\n* Optimizes Work Processes: You are aware of the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, and are focused on continuous improvement.\n\n* Collaborates and Communicates: You work cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives, partnering with others to get work done and crediting others for their contributions and accomplishments.\n\n* Action-Oriented: You readily take action on new opportunities with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
