This individual will play a pivotal role in driving Defuse growth and establishing key partnerships in the web3 and DeFi ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in web3, DeFi, CeFi/CEXes, and possesses a robust network within the industry. They will report directly to the CEO and will have the opportunity to build and lead their team over time.\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n* Strategic Partnerships: Lead the development and execution of strategic partnerships with key stakeholders:\n\n* Market makers / solvers\n\n* Ecosystems, foundations, founders\n\n* Distribution channels, wallets, and other front-ends that would integrate Defuse.\n\n\n\n\n\n* Business Growth: Drive business growth through innovative strategies and initiatives, focusing on metrics such as trading volume, number of users, and total value locked (TVL).\n\n* Network Utilization: Leverage a vast network in web3 to identify and secure high-impact partnerships.\n\n* Leadership: Serve as a founding member of the project, contributing to overall strategy and direction. Build and manage a high-performing business development team.\n\n* Market Insight: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to ensure Defuse remains a leader in the space.\n\n* Collaboration: Work closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to align business development efforts with overall company goals.\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n* Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years in business development roles, with significant experience in web3, DeFi, and CeFi/CEXes.\n\n* Network: Demonstrated ability to leverage an extensive network within the web3 and DeFi ecosystems.\n\n* Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Proven ability to drive complex deals and foster long-term partnerships.\n\n* Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.\n\n* Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
