Remote Vice President Marketing Performance Measurement
\nVice President, Marketing Performance Measurement\n\n\nThe VP, Marketing Performance Measurement is an experienced strategy and operations leader, working directly with our Chief Marketing Officer and the leadership team to drive key strategic initiatives and programs across the global marketing organization. You will\nwork closely with both marketing and cross-functional teams to help shape strategic GTM plans and oversee operational excellence for marketing at ExtraHop. You strive for efficiency and scalability in everything you do and are seen as a reliable, creative problem-solver by your stakeholders and peers. Demonstrated excellence in B2B revenue marketing is a must.\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\n* Craft and sustain KPIs that each functional area of the Marketing team needs to execute effectively within the context of the larger functional goals\n\n* Build forecasts and projections that relate to the expected ROI on marketing campaigns, traffic and user acquisition, and other areas of marketing that require robust and rigid financial analysis\n\n* Work with the BI team to extrapolate insights and turn those insights into an actionable strategy that marketing team can leverage to create marketing initiatives\n\n* Create a thoughtful, clear metrics-driven approach that tracks, monitors, and evaluates the impact and effectiveness of all programs and initiatives\n\n* Set the operating, planning, OKRs, and reporting rhythm for the CMO and the rest of the Marketing Leadership team\n\n* Keep leaders accountable for setting consistent, high-impact goals and sharing back ‘wins and learns’ with the broader organization.\n\n* Support the GTM planning processes to develop tightly aligned GTM plays across product, sales and marketing\n\n* Identify areas where technology and automation can drive increased efficiency and repeatable processes to bring marketing campaigns to market with greater velocity\n\n* Drive internal communications and adoption of new programs and processes that impact marketing and cross-functional teams, globally\n\n* Help facilitate effective training on Marketing-related topics in order to ensure all of the relevant stakeholders are properly educated on how to infuse the best marketing tactics into their content, initiatives, and products to maximum impact\n\n* Act as a high-level project manager to all of the marketing-related initiatives\n\n* Inspire, grow and nurture a global team of engaged marketing professionals who deliver on our goals\n\n* Manage responsible investment and resource allocation (headcount and budget) across the marketing leadership in partnership with CMO \n\n* Work with key business leadership across the globe to understand future marketing plans and develop a strategy to deliver on these plans. Tailor strategies to local markets as necessary\n\n* Ensure the team is maximizing the impact of all campaigns by maintaining organized playbooks, automated systems, and dashboards which track success/failure and learnings\n\n* Develop, implement, and oversee budget tracking across the marketing functions\n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications\n\n\n* Bachelor degree, or equivalent experience\n\n* 15+ years of experience working in a strategy or operations function, 5+ years of experience managing people and growing teams\n\n* Ability to digest complex information & ideas and organize them into an actionable plan that is measurable\n\n* Experience influencing and collaborating with senior leaders and stakeholders in a large, matrixed organization\n\n* Track record of setting, meeting and exceeding pipeline goals\n\n* Data-driven and customer obsessed\n\n* Superior communication skills coupled with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, vendors, partners, managers\n\n* Excellent collaboration and communication skills with ability to create and deliver presentations to senior executives\n\n* Player-coach mentality with ability to develop strategy and plan in a matrixed environment, and then be hands on executing\n\n* Strong cross functional collaboration across all departments of the company\n\n* Ability to exercise tact and diplomacy to resolve sensitive matters\n\n* Ability to engage and inspire team to greater performance targets\n\n* Critical thinker and problem-solving skills \n\n* Excellent verbal and written communication skills\n\n* Excellent team building skills\n\n* Strong decision-making skills\n\n* Proactive (not reactive) in approach\n\n* Sense of urgency in everything they do\n\n* Flexible and have the ability to adjust quickly to changing demands or strategies\n\n* Creative – always thinking outside the box and highly strategic\n\n* Highly motivated team player\n\n* Known for creating best in class global processes that allow teams to execute successfully\n\n* Confidence and ability to partner and influence at executive management / C-level\n\n* Able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands and work under tight deadlines with evolving priorities\n\n* Detail oriented, excellent follow through ability to deliver multiple tasks and priorities\n\n* Agile and adaptable to change and innovation\n\n* Calm under pressure\n\n* Motivated self-starter\n\n\n\n\n#LI-JL1 \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
