You will work on problems of diverse scope where analysis will include hardware, software, and environmental factors within our Flash Array product. Our Support Engineers utilize their deep technical expertise to troubleshoot customer issues and resolve them. Since weโre a team-oriented group, weโre hoping that youโre a true team player too!\n\nResponsibilities\n\n\nAdvanced ServiceNow Case management\n\nProactively seek to understand customer expectations.\n\nAnswer and resolve support cases across all severity levels.\n\nActively engage the customer in professional manner via variety of methods. \n\nOwn, track and maintain clear, concise, and positive communication for all cases in a timely and efficient manner including follow-ups with customers, team members, and engineers;\n\nExperience balancing workloads across teams\n\nProvide ideas and assist with creation of documentation FAQ / KB article when needed\n\nTroubleshoot, research, and resolve issues, using internal tools, and knowledge base, peer to peer collaboration and other tools you will learn in this role.\n\nManage multiple projects/support cases simultaneously.\n\nChampion customer issues internally and represent the company externally.\n\nLeads large multi participant customer calls, including hot escalations.\n\nNormally receives little instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.\n\nWeekend, holiday, and on call duties as required.\n\n\n\n\n \n\nWhat You Bring to the Team\n\n\nAssociates Degree +1 year experience or 3 years direct experience\n\nGood organizational and time-management skills.\n\nExceptional interpersonal skills.\n\nProven ability to resolve customer problems, and escalations utilizing appropriate internal and external resources.\n\nProven technical troubleshooting skills in a complex multi-platform-system-vendor environment.\n\nExperience in supporting both hardware, and software products.\n\nAbility to triage issues, and escalate them to appropriate engineering groups as necessary\n\nAdvanced to expert knowledge of technologies such as operating systems (Solaris, LINUX, Windows, VMware), LANs & WANs, and storage area networks.\n\nAdvanced knowledge and ability to troubleshoot Networking, Latency, Replication, Performance and Space issues.\n\nDemonstration of subject matter expertise in one or more of the following: NFS, S3, Native SMB, LDAP, IPv6.\n\nExperience with dispatching hardware\n\n\n\n\nDesired skills\n\n\nSecond language preferable but not required.\n\nGovernment clearance\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
