This role plays a key part in daily accounting operations, account reconciliations, and overall support of the accounting function. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.Primary Duties & Responsibilities* Record daily financial transactions with accuracy and consistency\n* Process Accounts Payable, including invoice review and payment preparation\n* Manage customer receivables, including weekly collections\n* Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation\n* Assist with general ledger entries and financial reporting\n* Respond to inquiries from vendors, internal teams, and external stakeholders in a professional manner\n* Support additional accounting and administrative tasks as needed\n\nEducation & Experience* Bachelorโs degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required\n* At least 1+ year years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related area\n* Experience in an accounting, billing, or student financials environment\n* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs required)\n* Familiarity with QuickBooks and/or HubSpot is a plus\n\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities* High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy\n* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines\n* Ability to work effectively in a remote environment\n* Strong written and verbal communication skills\n* Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion\n\nCompensation & Benefits* Competitive compensation package\n* 401(k)\n* Health, dental, and vision insurance\n* Paid time off\n* Professional development support\n\nWhy UHP* Belong to something, Believe in something, Strive for something.\n* Work alongside a team committed to excellence, growth, and purpose\n* Direct impact on the lives of service members and veterans\n* Work in a unique, high-performance campus environment\n\n
