About the team:\n\nRobinhood is looking for a Technical Program Manager to develop and drive high impact Risk, Fraud, and Financial Crimes programs across the company - partnering with infrastructure, product, operations, and risk and compliance teams to build platforms and services that enable best in class risk management and protection from bad actors.\n\nThe role will be centralized within our growing Technical Programs team, and will partner with the Risk, Fraud, and Financial Crimes engineering teams to help craft programs to support their overall strategy, establish effective communication processes, build strong collaboration with cross functional partners across the org, and ultimately drive execution towards the organizationโs goals.\n\nTo be successful in this role, you will need to be able to be agile and adapt to the growing needs of the business, and have the ability to help build the sustainable practices that lead to a successful team.\nYour day-to-day will involve:\n\n\nHands on, end-to-end program management from design to delivery\n\nHelp evangelize the engineering team's plans and overall strategy\n\nProvide visibility to the team's work and priorities through strong communication practices\n\nEstablish lean processes to help the team operate more effectively, with a focus on productivity\n\nEngage with internal customers like backend and product engineering teams to ensure the alignment of needs and priorities with Risk, Fraud, and FinCrimes initiatives\n\nWork closely with the legal and regulatory arms of the company to ensure any compliance and legal requirements are captured accurately\n\n\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n5+ years of experience with managing engineering programs at scale\n\nTechnical proficiency to understand and contribute to design and implementation decisions with engineering counterparts\n\nComfort with navigating ambiguity and translating it to impactful results\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with both engineering and non-engineering audiences\n\nAbility to juggle multiple responsibilities and prioritize automation over manual process\n\nExperience working on large-scale distributed systems\n\nHave domain expertise in the integrity, anti-abuse, and fraud detection space and familiarity with tools like Actimize\n\n\n\nBonus points:\n\n\nFamiliarity with Python, Django/Go, Postgres, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes\n\nKnowledge of machine learning and data science\n\nExperience in Finance and portfolio trading\n\n\n\n\nCO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $129000 to $172000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhoodโs equity plan. \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
