This is a US/CA remote position with a strong preference for NYC.\nAbout The Role\nAs a founding team member, youโll have the opportunity to contribute to strategic decisions, help shape software architecture, and make an immediate impact on some of the worldโs most successful crypto projects. You will contribute to the design, implementation, and performance of the distributed system that underlies the protocol.\n\n* Use your distributed systems engineering knowledge to design and implement back-end services, prototypes, and tools\n\n* Propose, write, and explain technical designs, approaches, and solutions\n\n* Engage in the teamโs design and code reviews, stand-ups, and agile development processes\n\n* Constantly learn new concepts, ideas, and frameworks from your peers\n\n* Stay updated on the latest methodologies and technologies in distributed node infrastructure to ensure that our product remain at the forefront of the industry\n\n\n\nWe're looking for someone that has\n\n* BS/MS in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience\n\n* 5+ years of software development experience with distributed systems\n\n* 2+ years of experience with Golang\n\n* Experience with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\n* Experience building, owning, and operating high-scale distributed systems\n\n* Extensive knowledge in professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life-cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, automated functional and performance testing\n\n* Bonus: experience with or a strong interest in zero-knowledge proofs\n\n* Bonus: experience with key technologies we use across the blockchain industry\n\n* You recognize that decentralization ethos and community in crypto are different from other professional software industries, and you want to embrace and improve it\n\n\n\nBenefits\n\n* Flexible and remote work environment\n\n* Employer covered best-in-class health, dental and vision insurance\n\n* Unlimited sick time\n\n* Quarterly team onsite events\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
