Our work unlocks improved operational outcomes, workflow efficiencies and new business insights across our organization. We help teams leverage data, tools and technology in order to successfully execute on their own mandates. We research, develop and maintain systems which support other internal teams from an operational and analytical perspective.\n\nThe role: \n\nReporting to the Manager, Salesforce Engineering the Senior Salesforce Developer will integrate Salesforce with other Jobber systems and optimize Salesforce performance to enable our sales and customer success teams to build better relationships with our customers. There are a number of internal tools we use that allow our teams to do great work, which is the direct impact you will have by analyzing, designing and optimizing business processes related to Salesforce.\n\nWe’re looking for people who are ready for their next challenge, and want to use their experience to influence people, processes and decisions.\n\nThe Senior Salesforce Developer will:\n\n\n* Implement new process and automation in Salesforce leveraging the capabilities to streamline operations and enhance productivity\n\n* Enable and install new App integration with Salesforce to contribute to a unified user experience across different systems\n\n* Conduct thorough analysis, debugging, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to find optimal solutions to ensure smooth operation of Salesforce\n\n* Strategize system maintenance related projects by collaborating with stakeholders to define the roadmap to maintain the reliability, scalability and efficiency of the Salesforce platform \n\n* Seek out and evaluate new technologies, tools and systems to achieve state of the art tech-stack, contributing to the overall advancement of Jobbers Salesforce platform infrastructure\n\n* Leverage Salesforce capabilities to optimize business processes, automate workflows, and achieve operational excellence\n\n\n\n\nTo be successful, you should have:\n\n\n* Previous experience as a Senior Salesforce Developer, developing and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud Solutions\n\n* Extensive experience working with Apex\n\n* Experience with Salesforce deployment tooling, with a preference of Gearset\n\n* Ability to work with Git version control and familiarity with deploying with Git.\n\n* Ample knowledge of Salesforce limits\n\n* Experience in working with SOQL, Visualforce, and Lightning components\n\n* Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Classic and Lightning Experience\n\n* Experience with Salesforce declarative programming tools such as Process Builder and Flow Builder/Cloud Flow Designer\n\n* Experience in working with data migration and import tools such as Data Loader and Data Import Wizard\n\n* Desire to collaborate. Experience working across multiple business units, comprising many stakeholders and influencing factors. You are team-oriented but able to work autonomously with minimal guidance in a fast-paced environment\n\n* Ownership and growth mindset.  You are driven to do the right things and often find yourself in the driver’s seat. You are the kind of person who knows what needs to get done and you make it happen while planning for the next stage ahead. You also involve the right people to help you with this\n\n* Proven troubleshooting experience. You’ll be very familiar with Salesforce best practices and the ability to recommend changes to our process that will increase efficiency for our internal teams\n\n* Ability to be highly adaptable. You will need to support the high-performing sales and success teams with ad-hoc requests and help in removing barriers/enabling new pathways on an ever-changing landscape\n\n* A passion for technology. You are naturally curious about technology and tend to be an early adopter for most things.
