\nWe're seeking a Senior Front End Software Engineer to contribute to the improvement and maintenance of the ICP Dashboard (dashboard.internetcomputer.org). This is a tool developed by the DFINITY Foundation that provides real-time network insights into the Internet Computer and enables users to monitor and search for historical and current information. Responsibilities\n\nResponsibilities: \n\n\n* Implementing new or redesigning existing React components based on Figma designs, including improvements, bug fixes, and proactively implementing new features without specific designs.\n\n* Perform thorough code reviews to identify issues and suggest improvements, ensuring high-quality code standards.\n\n* Mentor other front-end developers, providing guidance and support to enhance team skills and productivity.\n\n\n\n\nRequirements:\n\n\n* 5+ years of experience as a front end software engineer, with a proven track record of shipping products\n\n* Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS/SCSS, and TypeScript, with a commitment to well-documented and clearly-commented code.\n\n* Experience working with React or other modern MVC frameworks, and designing and implementing reusable and composable React components.\n\n* Strong sense for design and UI/UX.\n\n* Ability to code with multiple target form factors (mobile, tablet, desktop) in mind.\n\n* Proficient in integrating web applications with RESTful APIs.\n\n* Strong attention to detail, ensuring clean, organized, and maintainable code.\n\n* The ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers across multiple time zones.\n\n* Pluses include: Rust, Next.js, KendoReact, BEM (Block-Element-Modifier) CSS class naming\n\n* Familiarity with cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies is a plus.\n\n* A Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, or a closely related field\n\n\n\n\nThis is a remote role with much of the current team based in the US on EST, so preference for those that can work in overlapping timezones. \n\nAbout DFINITY and the Internet Computer:\n\nThe Internet Computer is the fastest and only infinitely scalable general-purpose blockchain โ incubated and launched by the DFINITY Foundation in May 2021.
