As a member of this small, multi-functional team, you should be a self-starter, adapt quickly, and consistently deliver high-quality results. Responsibilities \n\n* Plan, test, implement, and manage projects to ensure scalable, maintainable, secure, and stable deployments for various use cases.\n\n* Conduct deep dives on node software and setup processes for new blockchain networks.\n\n* Automate blockchain software build, install, and management processes.\n\n* Debug complex distributed blockchains to ensure smooth operations.\n\n* Manage and monitor bare metal servers and virtual machines across multiple data centers.\n\n* Perform Linux server administration, hardening, intrusion detection, and vulnerability scanning.\n\n* Utilize Ansible workflows to manage and provision bare metal servers and virtual machines.\n\n* Participate in on-call rotations for critical service monitoring and response.\n\n* Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.\n\n* Develop custom monitoring tools to report infrastructure information to our observability stack.\n\n\n Minimum Qualifications \n\n* In-depth experience using Ansible (and similar tools) :\n\n* Designing complex static and dynamic inventories, variable structures, and playbooks\n\n* Writing custom Ansible roles from scratch, with advanced features such as Jinja2 templating, complex logic flows, dynamic roles/tasks, and handlers\n\n* Ensuring idempotency & reusability, and following applicable best practices\n\n\n\n\n\n* Deep understanding of networking and security best practices\n\n* Experience with common system administration scripting languages such as Bash and Python\n\n* Minimum of 4 years with Linux systems and networking\n\n* Experience with:\n\n\n \n\n* Proxmox\n\n* Kubernetes\n\n* Ansible\n\n\n \n\n* Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.\n\n* Experience working in environments governed by SLA or SLOs, including:\n\n* Monitoring and alerting platforms\n\n* Previous experience with on-call rotations\n\n* Diagnosing, resolving, and escalating as part of an incident response team\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Preferred Qualifications \n\n* Knowledge of, or experience with, Proof-of-Work and/or Proof-of-Stake decentralized consensus mechanisms used in blockchains.\n\n* Experience running applications on Kubernetes\n\n* Experience creating CI/CD pipelines from scratch to automate infrastructure provisioning and deploy applications (Ansible Tower/AWX, GitHub Actions, or similar tools)\n\n* Experience with Hashicorp Vault or other secure storage tools\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on similar jobs related to Web3, Crypto, Blockchain, DevOps, Node, Senior and Engineer jobs that are similar:\n\n $80,000 — $125,000/year\n
