\nAs a Principal/Lead Product Manager at Canopy, you will drive our business and customer impact. You'll take on a central role, deeply understanding customer needs within the fintech domain, and leveraging this insight to drive impactful initiatives. Not only will you own these initiatives, but you will also contribute significantly to the overall product strategy particularly around ML/AI.\n\n\n\nExpectations\n* Demonstrate and Expand Domain Expertise: Actively enhance your knowledge of the lending domain, competitors, ecosystem partners, and the fintech infrastructure industry.\n* Represent Canopy as an expert in our product: enabling you to speak concisely about it to technical or nontechnical audiences.\n* Present confidently and effectively: by creating presentations and high-quality material for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and sales prospects \n* Influence Scope and Priority: Understanding user needs, and using those to drive business goals. Constantly framing, and reframing these as we learn. Ultimately making hard judgment tradeoffs between features and speed to market\n* Advocate for Customer Needs: Analyze and address customer challenges to enhance business operations.\n* Iteratively Enhance the User Experience: Simplify complex back-office processes into user-friendly digital solutions.\n* Champion Impact: Communicate the value we provide to a broad set of stakeholders.\n* Connect the Dots Across the Organization: Foster collaboration across functions to enhance product development and corporate health.\n\n\n\nDuring any given work day, you might spend:\n* 50% of your time working directly with your team on problem and solution discovery, framing, prioritization, and future planning\n* 20% building context for stakeholders, communicating cross-functionally, and working with others on the product team\n* 20% Market research, competitor analysis, and gathering customer feedback to refine and adapt product strategies.\n* 10% Team and relationship building, process improvement, and personal development\n\n\n\nRequirements\n* Experience in working in Fintech lending and banking \n* In-depth understanding of the lending life cycle and key financial concepts.\n* Proven track record in making informed product decisions and designing MVP solutions in ambiguous environments.\n* Strong technical proficiency, especially with SQL and other analytical tools; Python and Node.js knowledge is a significant plus.\n* Experience in remote work environments and proven history of achievement.\n* Excellent communication skills, capable of discussing complex technical details with a variety of audiences.\n\n\n\nAdvantageous\n* Experience building machine learning and AI products \n* Deep understanding of small businesses and SMB lending\n\n\n\n\n$165,000 - $190,000 a yearThe posted range for this role is based on candidates who reside in the United States.\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
