We are looking for a presales engineer to join us to help with the art of the possible, supporting the business development team in solutioning and realising effective partnerships for Wise Platform. The teamโs goals are to drive the growth of Wise through partnerships and integrations, ensuring we can successfully deliver projects from the technical side.\n\nThis role sits under the engineering team at Wise Platform and works closely with the Solutions engineering team, which will give you great opportunities to contribute and learn from those building and evolving our product. \n\n\n\nYour mission:\n\n\nYour role will be to provide technical consulting, support and product guidance to prospective partners of Wise platform, who make up some of the worldโs biggest banks and businesses.\n\nWorking in conjunction with the business development team, you will be involved in the sales process from lead generation and early discussions through to a partnership agreement.\n\nYou will assist the partners to define their solution, finding a match between our technical capabilities and their requirements.\n\nYou will work on sales collateral, demos, proof of concepts and any other material to help get potential deals over the line.\n\nYou will Ensure the viability of solutions by testing and documenting an end to end solution.\n\nYou will share feedback from your experiences to the product teams in Wise Platform to drive roadmaps in order to create more opportunities for the team.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSome of your focus areas will be:\n\n\nLaying out a clear picture of our technical product as well as future roadmap for our partners.\n\nCapturing any product gaps and helping define a solution in collaboration with the product teams. Define timelines and manage expectations with our partners.\n\nCreating a suite of resources to explain and sell Wiseโs technical proposition.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis role will give you the opportunity to:\n\n\nChoose your own path to success โ youโll have the freedom to define the vision and responsibility for making it happen.\n\nHelp define Wiseโs technical presales function as we expand it across the globe.\n\nScope and define partnerships with the worldโs biggest brands.\n\nInspire teams with your ideas, knowledge and self-starter attitude.\n\nAdvocate and engage technical communities to attract attention to the Wise platform, bringing valuable feedback to the product teams on how to improve the integration experience.\n\nTravel to work with our teams in Europe as well as meet with prospects around the world.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nA bit about you:\n\n\nYou have worked in a technical presales role before for a company offering an API based product.\n\nExperience with RESTful APIs, Cloud platforms, and understanding of different technology stacks.\n\nYou donโt need to be a software developer, but you need to have good technical skills and be comfortable with talking to engineers and other technical stakeholders.\n\nBeing comfortable reading technical documentation and using it to test and define solutions.\n\nYou understand the value of balancing customer centric thinking and technical skills and can bridge the gap between business and technical experts.\n\nYou put the customer above technology, while finding ways to leverage technology to solve customer problems..\n\nYou are personable and you are good at stakeholder management.
