This is a hands-on, individual contributor role requiring active outbound sales efforts and cross-functional teamwork. This role has a significant impact within the company and is a great opportunity to develop your sales career in the Cell and Gene Therapy space.\n\n\nThis position is remote within the US, with a strong preference for candidates based in the Boston/Cambridge and San Francisco areas.\n\n\n\nWhat You'll Do\n* Serve as primary point of contact for existing and new accounts ordering Synthegoโs HALO Discovery products\n* Build foundational relationships with key clients at early phases of therapeutic development\n* Work closely with Clinical Sales Consultants to prioritize target accounts in Synthegoโs serviceable market for penetration and business expansion\n* Daily prospecting to build funnel for preclinical and clinical business\n* Develop outbound messaging to existing and potential customers in preclinical stage of therapeutic development\n* Identify HALO Clinical upsell opportunities\n* Own entire preclinical opportunity funnel from opportunity creation to receipt of PO\n* Provide customer/market feedback to product management team to support expansion of product roadmap\n* Travel time - up to 25%\n\n\n\nAbout You\n* Bachelor's degree in one of the basic sciences from an accredited University (biology or cell/molecular biology degree preferred)\n* 3+ years of sales experience and/or opportunity development\n* Strong interpersonal and presentation skills\n* Outstanding professional verbal and written communication skills\n* Driven to be successful in a commercial and sales-oriented career\n* Knowledge of Synthego products/platforms and basic knowledge of gene editing/CRISPR\n* Strong organizational skills in Salesforce CRM and data management in Excel / Google Sheets / Tableau\n* Attention to detail and process-oriented\n* Ability and desire to solve customer problems and clearly communicate solution\n\n\n\nCompany Perks & Benefits\n* Generous equity\n* Medical, dental, and vision benefits\n* 401k Program\n* Paid parental leave\n* Flexible paid time off\n* Learning and Development resources\n\n\n\n\n$115,000 - $135,000 a yearSalary range is based on OTE.
