We're looking for passionate people who have worked on the installation of heating systems and we provide full training for candidates looking to make the transition to renewables! \n\n\nWe're recruiting Nationwide across England. This role posting is covering the West Sussex region. \n\n\n\n\n\nWhat you'll do \n* You’ll work as part of a team of two to install low carbon technology in customers homes - starting with Air Source Heat Pumps\n* You’ll learn about new technologies and get awesome training to give you the skills to assist the installation engineer from day one\n* You’ll use your knowledge and experience of domestic heating and plumbing systems to prepare and install unvented cylinders, pipework and radiators\n* Make sure we carry out work cleanly and respectfully at a customer's property\n* Planning and communicating with your team and customers\n* Ensure the smooth running of the Heat Pump Installation\n* Problem Solve - nothing is insurmountable - you’ll anticipate problems and find solutions quickly and efficiently.\n\n\n\n What you'll have \n* You’ll be an experienced plumber with plenty of experience on the ‘wet’ side of domestic heating systems, including unvented\n* A laser customer focus - communication is key\n* A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude - we’ll do everything to make the customer experience perfect\n* A keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills\n\n\n\nQualifications\n* NVQ Level 2 plumbing (or equivalent experience)\n* Full, clean driving licence\n* WRAS Water Supply Regs or UHW10/HWSS Unvented DHW Storage Systems are beneficial but not essential!\n\n\n\nWhat we offer \n* £26,000 - £30,000 base salary (depending on experience, + London weighting if applicable)\n* £2,500 annual performance bonus\n* Share Options in Octopus Energy\n* £25 per week lunch allowance\n* Use of company tools, transport\n* Uniform and all PPE\n* Octopus Energy benefits package (see below)\n* Future opportunity to grow and develop towards a fully qualified Heat Pump Engineer\n\n\n\nOther Perks \n* Octopus Energy is a unique culture.
