The successful candidate will be part of a world-class team of cloud engineers. You will improve the reliability and stability of our services operating primarily in Google Cloud. You will adopt best practices for infrastructure as code and endeavor to deliver efficiencies with the Software Development Lifecycle through continuous integration and continuous deployment. You will focus on building a well-managed, cost-efficient cloud platform and supporting other engineering teams.\nAbout the team\nThe team strives to be motivated only by building the best software for our users. We push each other, learn from each other, and strive to grow continually.\nWhat you'll do\n\n* Create and support CI/CD tooling for IaC and internal services in Github.\n\n* Create and support monitoring and alerting systems and best practices internal to Platform Operations and amongst other engineering teams.\n\n* Identify opportunities for optimization in cloud services and implement strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\n\n* Developing automated processes for deploying and managing cloud services utilizing Terraform, Helm Charts, and additional automation tooling.\n\n* Work closely with security teams to implement security best practices.\n\n* Work as part of a cross-functional guild to develop and maintain operational standards and best practices and reduce operational risk in our business.\n\n* Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies.\n\n* Reduce friction to deliver software within Google Cloud\n\n\n\n\nWho you are\n\n* Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, containerization, and cloud computing concepts, ideally on GCP.\n\n* Experience automating infrastructure utilizing IaC, preferably Terraform.\n\n* Experience with various monitoring tools like Google Monitoring Suite(preferred), AppDynamics, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, etc.\n\n* Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.\n\n* Experience building large-scale platforms and solving problems including scalability, reliability, observability, validation, and cost efficiency.\n\n* Experience building or operating high-performance distributed systems.\n\n* Hands-on experience with cloud architecture design, scale, and performance, and tuning, with knowledge of Containerization and Kubernetes.\n\n* Demonstrated expertise in designing and conducting experiments while influencing engineering decisions and shaping the product roadmap.\n\n* Excellent communication, both written and verbal.\n\n* Coding experience in one or more of Go, Bash (preferred), Python, and Javascript (nice to have).\n\n* Previous experience in Adtech is not required. \n\n\n\nWe are Madhive\n\nWe empower our clients to create enduring relationships with consumers through maximum-fidelity, TV-first technology that elevates media, embodies relentless innovation, and ensures unrivaled revenue acceleration.\nMadhive is a dynamic, diverse, innovative, and friendly place to work.
