\nWork Location: Remote/Work from home in PST time zone\nWork Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 10 - 20 hours/week\nEngagement Model: Temporary, part-time employment\nEstimated Start Date: April 2025\nEmployment Duration: 6 months\nHourly rate: $24.70\nEquipment Provided by TransPerfect: Google Chromebook\n\nDataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Live English Transcriptionist / Stenographer to join our team in the US!\n\nRole Summary\nIn this role you will accurately transcribe live virtual meetings, ensuring every word and gesture is captured in real-time. The focus is to provide an exact written record of the meetings as they happen.\n\n\nRole Responsibilities\n* \nTranscribe all spoken information during calls without relying on recordings or Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) support. The focus is to provide an exact written record of the meetings as they happen.\n* \nEnsure all spoken information and gestures are correctly captured during the virtual meeting\n* \nFinal transcription for the virtual meetings must be delivered within 24 hours after participating in the meeting\n\n\n* \nCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy\n\n\n\nRole Requirements\n* \nCandidates selected for an interview will be required to participate in a live, 10-minute transcription test as part of the qualification process\n* \nMinimum 2 years of experience transcribing live, real-time events\n* \nComprehensive understanding of the conventions followed during transcription\n* \nCompleted courses in typing / stenography\n* \nShorthand typing speed \n* \nProficiency using Google Workspace/Suite products\n* \nStable internet connection and comfortable working with Google Chromebook (Note: equipment will be provided)\n* \nExcellent active listening skills and strong attention to detail\n* \nAbility to work independently and manage time efficiently\n* \nNCRA certification is a plus\n* \nExperience with steno machines is a plus\n\n\n\n\nDataForce offers companies in technology, advertisement, entertainment, and other industries reliable BPO and Data Collection & Annotation services.
