Remote Junior Quantitative Analyst

Over the years Keyrock has become a company that is both idealistic and practical.\n\nWe are looking for: A dynamic Quantitative Analyst to work in collaboration with our engineers, data scientists and quantitative traders. Your mission will be to develop new systematic strategies, enhance current systematic strategies and develop our backtesting systems. Background and experience\nA minimum of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Sciences or Statistics\n\nA minimum of 1 year of relevant experience at a leading market maker/prop shop/hedge fund/asset manager or an investment bank\n\n\nCompetences and personality\nA high degree of technical aptitude with programming skills in Python/C++/Rust/Java\n\nKnowledge of SQL\n\nStrong analytical capabilities\n\nFamiliarity with financial markets and trading algorithms in order books\n\nOutstanding written and verbal presentation skills\n\n\nJob description\nDeveloping and improving our current algorithmic strategies\n\nCollaborating with our data engineering and tech teams to improve data quality\n\nDeveloping and improving our backtesting engines\n\nReviewing performance metrics and communicating post strategy analysis, based on market conditions and systems performance\n\nHelping to deliver continuous improvements on our trading infrastructure and models\n\nEnsuring market and research issues are properly documented\n\nCommunicating regularly with trading and BI teams\n\n\nOur recruitment philosophy\nWe believe the most important aspect of our recruitment process is self-awareness: we are looking for people who have a clear understanding of themselves and what they are looking for in their professional career.
