Remote Head of Partnerships & Business Development

Youโll work closely with product, marketing, and company leadership to recruit and support key partners, inform strategy and accelerate our roadmap. Eco is coming.\n\n--\n\nAs Head of Partnerships & BD at Eco, you will:\n\n\n* Grow Ecoโs product and partner ecosystem (The Ecosystem...) through protocol launch and beyond\n\n* Be a face of the Eco protocol and our Bend product, and an expert on both of them, to partners and customers throughout the web3 space\n\n* Develop the foundational components of Ecoโs business development capability, including the development of team processes, the requisite tech stack, the goals for Eco and Bend, and more\n\n* Build relationships with relevant prospects and stakeholders to ensure that the business development pipeline is generating conversions for the Eco protocol and Bend at a high pace\n\n* Develop a strong pipeline of partnerships for the Eco protocol and Bend, driving growth with user activity, volume, and product development\n\n* Ensure rapid expansion into new markets that align with product and business goals and allow for a healthy, forward-looking growth of Eco productsย \n\n\n\n\nWeโre looking for you if:\n\n\n* You have previous successful experience (i.e., a company with a proven track record with success milestones related to product or acquisition) as a tech startup operator in a similar business development leadership role\n\n* You have a demonstrated track record of creative dealmaking, negotiating the most favorable terms aligned towards product and company goals, while iterating rapidly on improving future process with new partners\n\n* You have experience taking a BD function zero:one, as well as managing and scaling business development teams\n\n* Youโre not done yet; you want to go back to early stage, with all the hustle that requires\n\n* Youโre highly proficient with business development tech tools and other general digital organizational tools (e.g., Notion, Slack, etc.)ย \n\n\n\n\nNice-to-haves\n\n\n* 3+ years of experience in Web3 or high, provable passion for Web3\n\n* Web3 product strategy experience\n\n* Large social following, especially on Twitter and LinkedIn, or offset by an existing network of possible leads for Ecoย \n\n* Power user of Web3 products\n\n\n\n\nBenefits of working at Eco:\n\n\n* Fully remote organization that allows you to work anywhere in the US, Canada, or North American time zones (other exceptions considered case-by-case)\n\n* 100% employer-sponsored medical, vision and dental coverage for you, your spouse and your dependents\n\n* Flexible vacation and work culture\n\n* Work-from-home stipend, monthly wellness allowance, and annual learning & development allowance\n\n* 401(k) plan with company match (if eligible based on residency)\n\n* Regular co-working opportunities in different cities throughout the US\n\n\n\n\n--\n\nPlease note that we are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, background, religion, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship status, marital status or disability.
