Together, we can build a better Internet.\nWe are seeking a versatile DevOps Engineer to help automate our infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code and help support our developers with a premium self service development experience.\n\nThis is a full-time remote position, with team members in North America and Europe.\n\nMaintain and build a scalable infrastructure for a very fast growing company.\n\nYou will report to the Platform Team Lead and work with a group of DevOps generalists. It’s critical that you are comfortable working in an unstructured environment, dealing with uncertainty, minimal direction, and working across a range of projects.\n\nResponsibilities/Duties\n\n\n* Help build and maintain deployment pipelines\n\n* Build E2E testing environments\n\n* Help developers productionize their applications\n\n* Deployment automation with Kubernetes and Helm\n\n* Maintain and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform\n\n* Configuration Management with Ansible.\n\n* Networking and VPN configuration\n\n* Experience with GCP and AWS\n\n\n\n\nQualifications\n\n\n* Experience working in high uptime 24/7 environments\n\n* In depth prior work with automation and configuration management\n\n* Significant experience with one or more common system administration scripting languages\n\n* Networking fundamentals\n\n* Security best practices\n\n\n\n\n\nOne of Figment’s core principles is “Making the Invisible Visible” - ensuring transparency and information sharing in all communication. The Canadian base salary range for this position is $100,00 to $130,000 CAD. This range reflects base salary only, and does not include additional compensation or benefits. For candidates in other countries, the pay range will be disclosed upon your first interview with Figment (being a globally remote company, the list of salary ranges would simply be too long to note here!). The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across all of the US.
