We want to make the world a better place and change people's lives through Monzo. ๐\n\nWhat will you be doing?\n\nOur Collections team are the financial health heroes at the core of Monzo ๐ They are here to identify and support customers who may be struggling with debt, offering them compassion and options to help. They do this with their top notch understanding of Monzoโs award winning lending products, credit file details and something we call a โdecisioning processโ - something weโll teach you all about! \n\nWhat weโd like to see from you:\n\n\nYouโll need to have a background supporting customers, working in a contact centre.\n\nWeโd love it if you also have prior collections experience, but don't worry if you donโt, you will get first class training from our Learning and Development team when you join.\n\nThe ability to communicate with customers to the highest standard because we only want the best for them. You can ask open questions to understand their situation, listen and provide solutions - predominantly via our in-app chat with a small fraction of manual outbound calls (when requested by our customers) and emails. \n\nFrom time to time things are complex so a keen eye for detail and a high standard of work will really help in this team.\n\nUnderstanding and keeping up to date with our regulatory obligations and ensuring these are fulfilled in our customer outcomes (in line with the FCA).\n\nMost importantly - you live and breathe people and customers like we do.\n\n\n\n\nHere is a presentation from one of our FinHealth Heroโs to give you a flavour of what we do in this role:\n\nA Day in the life of a Collections Adviser\n\nYour working life and shift requirements โ๏ธ\n\n\nWorking hours fall within Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am - 6pm (37.5 hours a week, remote working).\n\nYour shift pattern will vary on a weekly basis, but don't worry, we give you plenty of notice in advance. \n\nYou're guaranteed 1 full weekend off each month.\n\n\n\n\n๐ก To work remotely you'll also need:\n\n\nto work from home in the UK in a safe, private and distraction free environment\n\na solid internet connection (download speed - 10mbps; upload speed - 5 mbps)\n\n\n\n\n๐ป Equipment:\n\n\nYou will need to own your own smartphone, because youโll need it each time you log into our customer support system.\n\nWe'll provide you with a Macbook on your first day as well as having additional equipment you can request to support you - should you need it.\n\nYouโll receive a one off payment of ยฃ200 from us once you have started to help you set up your very own perfect home office space, you could buy a desk and chair with it - if you like.\n\n\n\n\nDid we mention we are a multi award winning employer too?
