KnowBe4 is hiring a Remote Content Review Specialist Intern
\n \n\nThis position is fully remote, meaning you will not be required to work in our Clearwater, FL office. However, you will have the option to work in-office or hybrid, if you are located in the greater Tampa Bay area and would like to do so.\n\nThis position is open within approved states in the U.S. Not all 50 states are approved.\n\nDates of Program: May 22 - August 11, 2023 (12 weeks)\n\nApplication Dates: You should apply as soon as possible but understand that because of our large pool of applicants, the selection process can take a few months. Please note that for internship positions with the in-office or hybrid option, the intern would be responsible for relocation (if needed) and lodging for the duration of the internship. Interns will receive company training, onboarding, and professional development training to help transition into the workplace. Interns will also engage in team-building activities and awesome socials specifically designed for the interns. Because we offer both hybrid and remote internships, we will offer a variety of virtual activities, in addition to in-person activities for those interns located in the Tampa Bay area. For more information on the internship program, visit www.knowbe4.com/careers/internships.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n\nAssist in formulating decisions and provides approval related to usability in validation process of courses\n\nAssist in quality checking online eLearning modules and provides feedback and training to courseware staff\n\nProvide quality control review of web-based content\n\nHelp review and edit course scripts, descriptions, storyboards, and other deliverables\n\nAssist in the review graphics/art department deliverables as to quality and adherence to storyboard dictates\n\nReview and periodically update our in-house style guide (courseware policy and procedure document), if necessary and applicable to intern\n\nHelp manage the master glossary and other master documents\n\nAssist on writing projects as needed\n\nProvide feedback in a collaborative way that helps to make all of the departments in courseware better\n\nUnderstands web accessibility and reviews for accessible standards and best practices (ADA/508\n\n\n\n\nLearning Objectives:\n\n\nUsing different tools to ensure the product meets the eLearning and KnowBe4 standards.\n\n\n\nProject management tools\n\nAccessibility tools\n\nRemote Desktop testing environment\n\nInstructional design tools\n\n\n\nLearn how to use screen readers and test in acquired environments\n\nLearn to research topics to ensure accuracy\n\nEffectively communicate with team members issues and address them\n\n\n\n\nInternship Opportunities/Experiences:\n\n\nPotential permanent position with one of the KnowBe4 publishing teams\n\nWorking in a high-speed environment and learning to deliver on time\n\n\n\n\nTraining:\n\n\nYou will learn about developing engaging elearning content with universal design and accessibility in mind. After your internship, you will understand the process and tools needed to perform an extensive QA review for both content, graphics, and functional testing. \n\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n\nExcellent communication skills, written and verbal including proper use of grammar and spelling \n\nHighly skilled with computers and able to get around a cloud-based directory \n\nAble to correct others with grace while, at the same time, encouraging them to continue to reach for mastery \n\nPreferably multi-lingual, but not necessary\n\n\n\n\nEducation:\n\n\n* B.A. in English (or comparable life/work experience) required \n\n* Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with editing and content review\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
