\nAs an experienced Colleague Programmer Analyst with experience at a Colleague client site, or more formally with Ellucian (formerly Datatel), your expertise will be used daily at CampusWorks. While there are opportunities for some travel, most of your responsibilities, we envision, will be done remotely, from your own home office. This is one of the great benefits of being part of the CampusWorks team!\n \nThe Colleague programmer/analyst position for CampusWorks is an important part of the client success team and requires technical knowledge of programming languages, databases, reporting tools, web applications, web service APIs, and the Ellucian suite of products to support the needs of clients. A significant part of the work requires systems integration, data imports/exports, and automation with scripts and programs. Infrastructure knowledge is also preferred, on-prem and cloud. The Colleague programmer/analyst demonstrates a high level of resourcefulness, can solve problems quickly both individually and as part of a team and works effectively across practices.\n \nTeam members successful in this role are: self-driven, able to understand the needs of the client and communicate effective solutions to multiple stakeholders, and experienced at managing multiple technical projects.\n\n\n\n\n\nResponsibilities\n* Gather requirements and specifications in collaboration with end-user offices.\n* Develop Colleague integrations following best practices and using tools like Ethos APIs, Ethos Integration, Data Connect, Colleague SDK for .NET, SFTP, Elf Imports, etc.\n* Complete programming/analysis and/or testing using Colleague Studio.\n* Develop and maintain technical architecture documentation.\n* Develop and generate reports as needed for business and leadership review.\n* Design, development, and analysis work includes collaboration and advising for both the end-user community and the clientโs IT department.\n* Participates in Colleague/Ellucian module project implementation and/or Unidata to SQL migration for Colleague.\n* Patching, Cloning, and Installation of base Colleague Applications.\n* Shares knowledge and best practices as requested.\n* Contributes to the continuous development of the CampusWorks team.\n\n\n\nExperience & Education\n* 5+ years experience at a higher education institution\n* Programming (Scripting Languages and Envision Basic)\n* Development and Architecture Documentation\n* Report Writing (including SQL Reporting Services, Argos, and/or other reporting tools)\n* All Colleague Modules (ST, HR, CORE, CF, UT)\n* Experience with installation and setup of Colleague Self-Service, WebAPI, and Ethos. \n* Experience using Colleague Studio\n* SQL Server, Unidata, and Oracle (as needed) relational databases\n* Data migrations (ETL) experience\n\n\nPreferred: \n* 10+ years of Colleague and Higher Education experience\n* PowerShell automation, Project Management, and Leadership Experience\n\n\n\n\n
