Employing a consultative, value-driven approach to sales & client management, you will identify and cultivate new opportunities, manage a robust pipeline, develop, and execute account-specific strategies to close large strategic deals, with new and existing clients, owning overall responsibility for the client relationship. You bring a strategic, consultative mindset and a strong point of view on how to create and sustain value to the table. \n \nThe Ideal candidate will be based in the Boston, MA area. \n\n\n\nResponsibilities \n\n* Become an important part of our hyper-growth\n\n* Target and close new large enterprise clients using a consultative, value-based selling approach\n\n* Promote value creating ideas within existing clients, which expand Aera’s relationships and usage of our unique DI platform\n\n* Own the C- and VP-level client relationships; acting as a trusted partner and advisor\n\n* Articulate our market positioning, why our technology is differentiated, and how our platform can impact the client’s business through engaging their business and technology stakeholders\n\n* Serve as a subject matter expert in the client’s industry and business from strategic intent to functional areas\n\n* Develop and own the long-term strategic roadmap, a pragmatic path to executing the vision, and the benefits case for the transformation\n\n* Act with integrity and urgency in responding to client requests\n\n* Collaborate with cross-functional team members to deliver exceptional service to your clients and secure upsells\n\n* Meet or exceed new ACV and customer revenue targets\n\n\n\n\nAbout You \n\n* A player with 7 + years of direct sales experience with a recognized data and analytics enterprise software firm, with an emphasis on Operations, Supply Chain Management and/or Digital Transformations\n\n* Experience promoting vision and value / outcome based selling\n\n* Familiarity and experience with Big Data, RPA/Process Mining, and AI/ML preferred\n\n* Highly motivated with a strong track record of success, including consistently meeting or exceeding goals\n\n* Ability to quickly understand and diagnose the key challenges facing clients and prospects\n\n* Demonstrated ability to build enduring strategic relationships with senior executives\n\n* Ability to express a bold point of view, both to engage and challenge your stakeholders\n\n* Skilled at crisply articulating the value potential of new and transformational solutions\n\n* Passionate about the power of technology to fundamentally transform the way corporations’ function\n\n* Willingness to travel on a frequent and regular basis\n\n\n\nMust be based in the Boston, MA area\n\nNice to Have \n\n* Background in Data Analytics / Planning / ML/AI \n\n* Supply Chain, Pharma or Life Sciences experience \n\n\n\n\n\n\n$200,000 - $220,000 a yearCompensation for this position consists of $220,000+ salary + 10-12% commission on all NNARR (uncapped) + Meaningful equity. OTE is $350,000 - $400,000.\n \nActual compensation offered will vary based on a number of factors including prior experience and location. Commission is based on sales performance and is not guaranteed.
