\nAbout us\n\nAt Guestline, we craft thoughtful products to help hoteliers effortlessly welcome and manage their guests. We provide Property Management Systems (PMS), travel agent integration, payment gateways and more.\n\n\nDevelopers here don’t just write code; we are responsible for delivering value to the customer and are a part of the whole process end-to-end.\n\nWe believe in:\n\n\n* Remote-first and trust-based relationship\n\n* Short decision-making processes and flat hierarchies\n\n* Collaboration: we pair program daily and conduct peer reviews for all new code\n\n* High standards and attention to detail. Our code test is a central part of the hiring process\n\n* Being Agile: we aim to deliver customer value continuously and incrementally\n\n\n\n\nThe Technology\n\nWe’ve successfully completed a transition to Azure cloud, and we are refactoring a monolithic WebForm app to an Event-Driven, Microservice architecture, hosted on Kubernetes. We’re still on the journey, but our current approach utilizes: SPAs with Typescript, React and C# .Net Core APIs with and Azure PaaS. We extensively use SQL Server in our legacy applications and Azure SQL in our modern stack.\n\nTo complement the existing BI team, we are looking for a candidate who has strong backend service and SQL skills.\n\nAbout you:\n\n\n* You have passion for SQL - you have been through both good and bad with SQL server, helping to design the most appropriate schema and optimise existing queries\n\n* You’re un-waveringly customer-focused - thinking about our customers first to go the extra mile and ensure our customers, guests and users alike will be best served\n\n* You value software quality - you’ll be an experienced developer able to build and deliver high quality software and skilled in Unit Testing, applying TDD and BDD\n\n* You value code quality – you’ll be a passionate proponent of quality code, having production experience in applying SOLID principles and software craftsmanship\n\n* You can work autonomously - once given a project you can tackle the bulk of it taking input and feedback but making it your own through to successful conclusion\n\n* You’re prepared to drive change – You use learning techniques, soft skills, and lead by example to inject new ways of thinking wherever needed\n\n\n\n\nWhat we can offer:\n\n\n* An international working environment\n\n* Competitive salary\n\n* 25 days holiday\n\n* Location: Poznan but we’re flexible (occasional travel to our offices if remote)\n\n* Your own choice of laptop – Dell or MacBook\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n No salary data published by company so we estimated salary based on previous jobs related to Developer, Backend and Digital Nomad jobs that are similar:\n\n $60,000 — $110,000/year\n
