This position is open for remote work from the comfort of your own home in any time zone from the Pacific coast of North America east to Europe.\n\nWe are looking for a senior developer to maintain and support existing backend services as well as develop new ones as need arises for the efficient and cost-effective flow of information from a virtual representation to the actual physical product using several industry standard software platforms.\n\nOur Backend Tech Stack\n\n\n* Backend: Java/Spring/VertX\n\n* Database: MySql, MongoDB, Hibernate\n\n* Cloud: AWS, Kubernetes, Docker\n\n* CI/CD: Gradle, Git, Terraform \n\n* Other: Kafka, ELK\n\n\n\n\nRequirements\n\n\n* Expert level Java and Spring development.\n\n* Demonstrable experience with SaaS development.\n\n* Demonstrable experience with micro-service development.\n\n* Experience developing RESTful applications.\n\n* Focused on software quality assurance and test automation.\n\n* Excited about doing real things, like programming for a real factory. \n\n* Ability to develop in multiple technologies with the capacity to pick up new ones as required.\n\n* Excited about writing software used by your co-workers with quick feature turn-around and immediate feedback. \n\n\n\n\nBonus Points \n\n\n* Experience with VertX.\n\n* Experience building CI/CD pipelines.\n\n* Familiarity with .Net/C#.\n\n* Familiarity with Angular frontends.\n\n* Experience in the construction industry, shop drawings, architectural drawings, etc.\n\n\n \n\n#Salary and compensation\n
